Rated 3 out of 5 by kaybs Love the fleece, not the style
I love the Lands End fleece shirts. They keep me warm in the winter! However, I did not like this style - the longer length and the boatneck created a boxy, unflattering fit. I've many of the fleece shirts from years past, and definitely prefer their shorter lengths and varied necks.

This is a cozy top that is not heavy so it is perfect for cool evenings or for layering. I like the length and the bright color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ali15 More stylish Polartec
I think this is more stylish than typical polartec fleece. With the longer length, it looks good with ankle/ slimmer fit pants and a scarf. I agree the fit is narrow through the shoulders and arms and it doesn't handle layers underneath well (I plan to wear it as a warmer top, with just a cami underneath)- might not work if you have broad shoulders. I think it looks nice if you style it as you would wear a tunic top. The body otherwise does run a bit big- currently I'm running between ST and MT, and I went with small tall (arm length is good for me at 5'9)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mapletree Great!
I can't believe some of the low ratings for this top. I love it. I bought one in teal, wore it often, washed it often and it is still like new. So I ordered two more; one in black and the other in red. OK, I'll concede that the red was "redder" than I wanted. But other than that, they are perfect. They are warm, look nice, wash nice. What more can I say. I'd order one in every color, but I'm sure people would think that I'm "stuck" on one style.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Lynne12345 Very Weird Neck
Ordered a teal and a black. The teal was so electric it hurt my eyes, sent it right back. The black arrived. Thought it had shoulder pads, the neck is stitched so odd and it does not lie in a flattering manner. Also the fabric made the thing look like a pajama top. Since it was on sale I will keep to use to layer when I do outdoor work, but would not be caught dead wearing it in public.

I did like the fabric and the color of this item. However, the fit was not good for me. These tops were WAY too long on me. I guess if I ordered petite the length may have worked, but then the sleeves would be too short. That has been my experience with Lands End sizing. The length is almost always an issue. Why must every top be tunic length??

Rated 3 out of 5 by Bluebonnets Color looks nothing like the web version
There are two problems with this top. One, the color looks nothing like the web version. The web version of "Teal Waters" - on my computer at least - is a nicely muted teal, nothing overpowering. What I got in the package was electric peacock blue. It's just incongruous. The second problem is that the stitching around the neck has no elasticity, despite the fabric itself being stretchy. The stitching has already broken in several places just from me stretching to try to get comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Getaway10 Cozy, comfy & great fit
I have a few of these boat neck tops in various colors & really love their versatility. They're lightweight, wash well & dry very quickly. Perfect for a range of temperatures as the Polartech breathes & keeps me comfortable indoors & outside, whether worn alone, over a turtleneck with a polartech vest/ winter jacket, etc. A great item for travel! I wear a Petite Large & the fit is perfect, roomy enough for a turtleneck underneath, yet perfectly fine worn alone. Sleeves are the perfect length, as is the overall length of the top itself, no extra material bunching at the hips. The boat neck isn't too wide for me & I have small shoulders. In fact, the small boat neck is more flattering than a crew neck style (which I also have). The price is a steal for this top & I'll be ordering a few more to stock up!! This top is my "go to" during the Fall & Winter.

I bought these shirts to wear around the house to keep warm. I usually buy LE medium and they me fit well. It's a close fit which is good because I often wear something over them. Although I didn't intend to wear them out of the house, I have and they looked fine to me. I have not noticed a problem with the neckline, which is more of a crew than a boat neck, so maybe that has been corrected. All in all, I really like these shirts. The 100 weight fleece is perfect to wear under a robe or jacket. The colors are all so pretty, too. They are worth a try, since LE is very accomodating about returns.

Agree with previous review, loved the fabric but the whole neckline thing with the hole in shoulder made no sense. Kills me to spend $ to send something back and have to pay for it, when its just poor workmanship
