Different fabric but comfortable
The textured fabric is different and much thicker than regular swimsuit fabric but it is supportive without feeling super tight. It is very comfortable and does hide flaws, but havent gotten it wet yet. Hoping it will hold its shape. Very good quality.

I feel pretty in a bathing suit for the first time in 20 years!
I am overweight, and since my daughter was a competitive swimmer when she was in school, I adopted the strategy of many older women at our pool -- I wore a Speedo. A size 18 Speedo that left the outline of my body unapologetically revealed. It said "I know what my body looks like, I'm not here for entertainment." I came and went as rapidly as possible.
Then came the day when I couldn't dress myself. I couldn't get into the Speedo because both of my shoulders are bad, and I literally couldn't get the the darn straps up, even when my skin wasn't damp. No suit I could find in the stores would work. I thought "Okay, I'll find a two-piece, something that zips up the front like my mother-in-law used to wear at age 75." Nope, they don't make them anymore.

I ordered the matching swim mini, and then I had a choice between this camisole top and the scoop neck top in the same fabric. I ordered them in Azalea, and they are just gorgeous! I chose the camisole style because I have a broad back and a small bust, so the sizing was better for me with that top, but the scoop neck looks just as nice.
I can't tell you why the other reviewer was not as delighted as I am. One of the great features of this textured fabric is that it doesn't give that "shiny sausage" effect -- it doesn't cling to my midsection flab. I am so thrilled that I sat down to write this review with it still on!

Nothing special
This suit is just ok. The tankini top is short and there's not a lot going on with it. The cut is just ok as well. Not a horrible black suit, but nothing special, either.
