While our Modern Rain coats are ready for unexpected showers, this one is designed to be extra flattering, too. We’ve taken the styling up a notch with slimming side seams and the generous swing silhouette you’ve asked for. An inverted back pleat adds room to move. 57% cotton/43% polyester with 100% polyester lining. Machine wash. Imported.

Love this jacket
I loved this jacket. I ordered it in Orange. Its bright orange too. The instructions said to order a size down if you were on the lower end of the scale. I usually wear a 2X or a 20 so I ordered a 1X. The size was OK except for the arms. The arms cut when you raise your arms or move them together. If I wore anything besides a tshirt underneath it was too small in the shoulders. I am sending it back and ordering a size up. The weight of the jacket is perfect for our area. Winter for us is highs in the 60's lows in the upper 30's. We only get a couple of really cold weeks a year.

One of my best purchases ever!
This jacket got a thumbs up from my colleague (who sees everything I order) and may be one of my best purchases from LE ever! The yellow is nice and bright, the navy blue on cuffs offsets well. It is a bit roomy, but being a 2x, I do not mind that at all. Nothing worse than popping buttons while seated. ;-) I like that there is a removable lining also, which will extend the wear-ability of the jacket in the spring. I'm thrilled with it!

Beautiful Details. Well Made!
This is a very fine constructed swing coat. The detailing in design, fabric and workmanship is one that reminds me of those garments that were made in the fifties and sixties when workers took pride in their work.
The fit is perfect. Now, the sleeves turned up (to show the cute contrasting color) are shorter than average. But just turn them down and voila! they are a perfect length with a flash of color when you move your arm.
The button detailing is so stylish, the inverted pleat with its own button closure to keep it neat or let it "swing". Removable lining, turn up collar, and sturdy button front will make you swoon. I just love mine!

Terrific coat.
I gave this to my sister for her birthday, and she was ecstatic about it. Many fine features. Well-made, nice construction. Lightweight, and with a light removable lining. Nice features and details, such as buttons (instead of a cold zipper), back button to retain the pleat, little lightweight inner collar chain for hanging. Nice color, with contrasting color cuffs, inner collar. Perfect length. Really a good quality and attractive coat. A big BD success!

Great rain jacket
I ordered this coat for my mom who wanted a short jacket to wear in Houston area. Her 2x fit beautifully. Sleeves were just right for her 5'3" frame and the button in insert is perfect for days that can get cooler there.
Plus I was soimpressed with the well-made, stylish coat that I bought one for me in CT. Great for here too.

Perfect for many looks.
How do love this coat, let me count the ways! Very attractive, a great value, versitile, extremely comfortable, made very well. I am impressed with the quality of this coat...the stitching is well done, the buttons are very secure and the removable lining is a great addition. The pop of color on the collar and sleeves sets this coat apart from similar coats in the market place. I like the swing style and the button in the back. All of the details make this one of my favorite coats. I have received many compliments from young and old alike. It is very stlyish and has become my go to coat. I hope you make this same style in a winter coat At first I thought a hood would be a nice addition, but now I think it would ruin the clean crisp look and make it more casual than it looks now.

love the fit and color, needs a hood
I got this jacket in the mail the day we left to go up north to visit the family. We picked it up at the post office as we were leaving town. On the second day, it looked like rain, lucky me, my new rain jacket was in the car, so, I got it out of the trunk, opened it, tried it on, and loved it. I got the beach orange. We did get caught in a downpour at the grandkids football game. I suddenly realized, "Oh, no, no hood". I was warm and dry, except for my head, and the kids said I looked great, but, I think this plus size jacket really needs a hood, like the regular size swing rain parka... As I say, I love the color and fit, and the button out liner is great, but,.... it needs a hood (and a nice dry cell phone pocket would be good as well)

Truly pleased with my purchase!
I was very pleased that the women's size fit me perfectly as I wear a women's petite. With the cuff turned up, it is perfect. It is very warm with the lining, yet not too heavy. The swing style is so flattering and I have received many compliments on it. More colors would be perfect!

Quality but it didn't work for me
Usually Lands End coats and jackets are perfect on me - this was an exception. It's a great piece of clothing, but: I ordered a size smaller than usual as suggested - but found it too snug around the chest and neck. I found the khaki colour less appealing than I expected, and I didn't like the fabric. It's the first Lands End product I've returned.
