Women's Plus Size Pattern Wool Swing Car Coat
Love the look of this coat
This coat exceeded my expectations on fit and looks. It also is quite warm. The only thing I would change is that it is a little stiff and as one reviewer said, it can be scratchy around the neckline so you do need a scarf with it. I think it is much dressier than it looks in the LE photo.

Amazing quality and style
I have never been complimented as much as I have on this coat.
The fit is flattering for sure.
I wear this all the time when the weather is warm enough for it. Looks great over jeans or dresses/skirts.
Generous through the waist if you have bigger arms with a bulky sweater it was snug but still comfortable.

Longer than in the picture
I suppose I should have read the description more carefully, it says "below the knee" whereas the picture shows it right above the knee. I like the shorter length better, but since I'll be moving to Virginia next year I'm going to keep it, I may appreciate the extra length. The coat fits true to size and is not too boxy. It's a nice weight wool, but it is scratchy around the collar at the back of my neck. I will definitely need to wear a scarf with it.

I did not find this coat to be flattering. It was rather big in an 8T when my usual size is an 8. I purchased the 8T for extra room but the measurements were much more generous than expected so I was swimming in this. I am an average sized women and 6-8 is my usual size but I usually wear an 8 or M in outerwear. This coat is not warm enough for New England winters. It looks as depicted but it is rather boxy and nowhere near as flattering as expected. My mother didn't even like this. It just looked frumpy to me overall. The price is good. With a little tailoring this could look great but I don't want to spend the extra money so I will be returning.

Nice Swing Coat but....
I was looking forward to this swing car coat but when it arrived I was not pleased at all. Last year I purchased the burnt orange swing car coat which I love...This coat is not as classy or flattering on me like last years coats...It is over all a smaller tight fit. Some of the buttons are flawed too. I am returning it...

Very good value at this price. Received lots of compliments.
Bought this coat at end of season. I am 5' tall, 110 pounds. Size 4 p fit perfectly, (usually I have to take my clothes to be fitted). Using clothing steamer: had it wearable in 10 minutes. This coat is classy! Very adaptable to whatever occasion, however I am dressed. Thank you, LE.

I ordered this coat for my daughter. It looks exactly like it does on the model-- sleek, classic lines. It is very elegant. I was impressed with how thick and warm it is, without looking bulky. My daughter is 11 years old and is absolutely delighted with this coat. It will never go out of style and should last 4-5 years of growth for her. It is worth every penny.

good sale price, length is as promised, I still prefer made in USA, needs to be pressed
The coat fits exactly as in the description -- below the knee, which is what I wanted for warmth. The sleeves seem long for a petite, but I will shorten them. I would have preferred made in America, but it's advertised as imported. I don't think the quality of the imported products match those made in USA, hence no 5 star rating. The coat could use a good pressing too.

Excellent coat. fitted looks great
I've lived in SF Bay Area 34 years and this is my 2nd winter coat, haven't had one in several. The morning are cold at 7am and I'm a public transit commuter. This coat feels great on a small person of 5'0", no extra foo-foo, belts, buttons, pockets, etc. tailored style. Easy to wear with a colored scarf. I'm not lost in the coat. Warm enough in 35 degree weather. Very, very pleased.

Longer than in photos--Nice coat if you want one for below the knee
This is a nice coat, but it is much longer than it appears in the photos. I am 5'8" tall and it comes to below my knees. Not what I wanted. It's going back. :-(
