Not flattering for bellies
I agree with a previous reviewer...the ruching on this bathing suit just emphasizes the belly. I'm normally a 2x at Lane Bryant and Addition-elle in Canada although I can't usually find bathing suits there. I ordered both the 24 and the 26. The bra on the 26 is too big. The torso on the 24 is too snug.

LOVE the Blue/purple color!
I LOVE this top and have zero complaints. The v-neck is higher than other tops I have and the underwire gives me much needed support. The shirring is very complimentary.
I am 5'3" and have no problem with it being too short - and I have a longer torso. When swimming I tuck all my tankini's into my swim shorts/skirt.
I bought a second one when this went on sale last summer.

Would have been a great idea except.....
This was one of the only LONG tankini tops available in plus (not sure about the other sizes)....and from trying on other Tankini tops, even though I'm short, (under 5'3") none seemed guaranteed to cover my midrift, if swimming or even just lifting arms over my head. It also has an underwear bra, no they're never GREAT but on the opther hand sometimes necessary! Like when wearing a very form fitting material like a swim suit...
However, the top was not cut attractively for me. I did not want a deep V or U shaped top, the square tops are better, I think, unless you want to be forced to show cleavage. I don't....not at a community pool, on vacation,etc.
Also, last, it came only in two highly unusual colors which were not a good match for 99% of the swim bottoms available. I wanted to wear a top with the navy blue swim shorts which I love, they fit great; or even some of the skirt like tankini bottoms....but could not mix and match THIS top with the ones I liked and which fit me right.
There is a definite NEED for a longer tankini top but LE, why make it in only ONE style and then release it in only TWO colors, both of which have few other colors to be matched with or coordinated with? (Actually just ONE color, I was not going to wear a brown tankini top/bottom).
Please, next swim season, redo this top, have some choices of necks shapes, heights, and have it able to
mix and match with most of the other swim bottom colors!
(Note: I entered I would recommend it, because for some people it would look better on, and there is a real need for a longer tankini top.).

Overall a decent swim top...for the right person.
This swim top caught my interest for the unusual shearing throughout the trunk part, the material is very nice and I like the blue color. However, the shearing can make someone with a belly look heavy as it did on me. The only other issue is the bottom of the bra cups did not lay flat on my rib cage at the underwires. I will return the top mostly for that reason as I could not decide if I just needed a smaller size or if the problem is inherent to the design of the underwire bra.
