Women's Plus Size Fit 2 Boot Cut Jeans with Tummy Control
Great wardrobe staple, but needs some adjustments.
@ Lands' End: These have always been my go-to jeans as they fit well, and the dark rinse is flattering and can be dressed up or down; but yes, the dye does bleed heavily! More important though, after a few washings the fabric tends to shrink lengthwise. This could be easily remedied if you were to offer more hemming options for plus-sized pants. Many larger ladies are also tall, and require an extended inseam (33-34" or longer). Furthermore, the latest fabric quickly wears thin between the thighs, due to chafing. This issue is certainly not exclusive to full-figured individuals. Perhaps the same technology in your kids' "iron knee" pants could be implemented to design pants/jeans with reinforced thighs? That may prove to be a major selling point, and hopefully reduce the number of exchanges you'll receive for this product after only 3 weeks of reliable wear. Personally, I would be glad to see this item improved to earn that 5th sailboat rating!

Love these jeans, but they ruined my shoes, socks, and underwear - even after SIX trips through the washer and dryer!!!
These jeans are so difficult not to love... They fit well, they have just enough stretch, they're a great shape. BUT, even after SIX washes and dries, they fade like gang-busters. My brand new sneakers are ruined, my socks have dark blue rings, and my underwear is blue. The worst part is, just touching the jeans makes the tips of your fingers and nails BLUE!!! I have two pairs of these and continue to wear them, but can't wear them with any light-colored clothing or shoes. That wouldn't be so bad, but they're light weight enough to wear this Spring. The blue fingers and nails just make me look dirty, so these will be relegated to working in the garden or chopping wood. Bad decision with these LE...

Fabric is shiny and the dye bleeds badly.
The price of thesr jeans seemed good - I sure don't like to spend upwards of $60 for jeans! These jeans also fit pretty well (bit of a back waist gap) and are comfortable, but the fabric is weirdly shiny for "denim" jeans. I didn't notice the very high percentage of elastane in them until they arrived, which I'm guessing is why they are shiny. Additionally, the blue dye bleeds horribly. Yes, they came with a tag saying that the dye might come off so they should be washed first - and I did wash them. First time I wore them I noticed blue on my thighs, and also on the backs of my hands, from putting my hands in the pockets, from just the top edge of the pocket! I've put them through the wash again, with an extra rinse cycle added. If they still bleed on my skin after that, they're going in the giveaways.

Love these jeans... Beautiful dark blue color, nice weight, with nice (but not too much) stretch. I'm 5'9" and they just come to the top of the arch of my foot. Price was right too~

I was so looking forward to receiving these jeans. When I got them the cut and fit were excellent - however, the inseam was a good inch shorter that it should of been. I always order 28" and the length is perfect - can wear with flats or a heel. These are ankle freezers. Upon measuring the inseam it barely comes in at 27". They will have to go back - I will be getting the 30" just to be on the safe side. If the length had of been correct, they would have definitely gotten 5 stars.
