Women's Pleat Front Washable Wool Comfort Trousers
These beautifully made slacks were at least two sizes too large.

I only recommend these pants if you want the expandable waistband. There are gaps in the pockets at the waist level and feel bulkier than normal pant
I was replacing a pair of year-round wool pants I'd worn for 10 years!! These are lined so that makes them warmer than I wanted. These are good for work but don't measure up to the ones I wore out.

Nice for work, expandable feature a plus, need more colors, like brown and gray.
I bought a blue and a black pair, same size, but the blue is a size larger in the waist, so I wear those on my "fat" days. They wash well. The expandable feature works as advertised. As already said, we need more colors here. Brown and Gray are needed. Also, the navy blue could use a bit more blue and a bit less black. The uninformed person would think they are the same pair of pants.

Can't say enough good about these slacks. Great fit, comfortable, easy to care for, look great! They're the foundation of my 'office attire'!

Not the quality you'd expect
Most certainly not a $90 product for many reasons: the fabric feels like 100% polyester, not a wool blend; some seams were puckered; the lining would not lie smooth - it felt and looked bulky and bunchy; and the waist band stitching looked like it would pull out in the near future. Sadly Lands End has little or no truly professional, good quality women's clothing.
As other reviewers said, this product falls far short of similarly styled 100% wool slacks Lands End sold some years ago. I bought many pairs of those, willingly paying more than $100 each because they looked great through many wearings and cleanings, making them a very cost effective investment. Those slacks were an excellent foundation for professional women's attire. But this pair of slacks was a total disappointment -- even at 30% off and free shipping! -- and I am returning them
I regularly get casual clothing from Land's End and have found the quality meets or exceeds my expectations considering the price, and so haven't returned anything in years -- just so the reader knows I am generally pleased with Lands End and not disposed to complain -- unless it is truly deserved!

Good office slacks
These are pretty good--right weight for office (in air conditioning), keep their shape. Two improvements would be to go back to the double clip fastening at the waist/top of zipper and to increase by one inch the slacks-fabric where the expandable waist meets the pocket, because the pocket satin sometimes shows when expanded.

Great office pants
I love these pants. Just regret they are not offered in more colors, i.e. brown and grey.

Very good finishing. Good style.
Wear every day. It fits perfectly. It is what I expected.

Not a substitute for previous dress pants with a traditional waistband
I thought these would be similar to the lined wool blend pants I bought a couple of years ago and loved (and wish now that I had also purchased in blue at the time), but they are not. The fit is odd.. not overall too big or too small, but almost right in the waist, too big in the hips and a bit too snug in the thighs (whereas the same size in the previous version fit just right). I also did not like the replacement of a traditional waistband with the "comfort" waist. I wish Lands End would bring back the old version. Some of us still need/want quality, well-fitting, classically styled (so they are not dated in a couple of years!), but affordable dress pants.

Waist is poorly designed for dress slacks.
Please bring back traditional dress pants with a waist and belt loops! I could have worn these pants if they would have had a waist and belt loops. Lands End has had wonderful timeless dress slacks in the past. Also, why do the pockets have holes in them? If you put keys or anything else in the pockets, a miss-hap would send the object to the ground. A size 2 with this waist design was much too big and no way to pin-up, belt or otherwise. Fabric, length, and manufacture was all very good and as described. As I had to return these slacks, I will continue to look for the traditional navy wool dress slacks.
