Women's Plain Front Washable Wool Comfort Trousers
A fine-quality piece of clothing. Lovely fabric... hard to believe it's washable! I may get another color.

Ordered one pair of these slacks in navy and found them to be exactly what I was looking for so I tossed out my old black wool slacks and ordered another pair in black. Haven't laundered them yet, but I trust they'll wash just fine and save me a dry cleaning bill. What makes these slacks perfect for me is the fit and the quality of the fabric: they come to the waist and look like wool gabardine (in my opinion). I'd order additional pairs if they came in additional colors (like deep red, black watch plaid, gray). I'm just under 5'7", weigh around 125 -130; the size 8 is perfect for me. I like my clothes to fit a llittle bit loose, not snug, and these truly fit the bill.

Great fit. Washes well with no ironing needed.
These pants fit perfectly. I love selecting the inseam length. And they are wash and wear. Can wear them right out of the dryer with no ironing.

Good fit but problem with pockets
I got the black pants in a size larger than my usual one. I usually wear an elastic waist and this one only has one in the back and as someone said, with the lining it does not really stretch. I love the fabric, lining and the fit. What I do not like are that the pockets do seem to have design flaw which many have noted. However, I wear most of my sweaters and shirts as overblouses so that is all right with me. But since so many have noticed, I would ask the people at LE to note this and address it.

Bring Back the "Commuter Trousers"
I ordered these pants since LE no longer offers the commuter trousers, which I absolutely loved. The pants were tight in the thighs and the pockets bulged. I also didn't like how these pants don't have belt loops. I was also curious as to why all the nice dress slacks are lined. It's summer and not necessary. The lining also makes the pants feel tighter everywhere. These are coming back and if you don't bring back the much loved commuter trousers I will have to find a new place to purchase my dress pants for work.

Classy looking pants with good fit
I was looking for black pants that were dressier than my khakis. These pants met my needs perfectly. I am 5'2", 120 lbs. and the size 4 fit great. The material is not too thick or too thin. I am also glad they are machine washable. The pants pair well with blouses, blazers, jackets, and sweaters.

Funky waist band, bulging pockets
These pants have a very funky fit - the waist band is awful and the pockets bulge out. I will be sending them back. I wear size 6, am 5'3" and weigh 133 lbs. Perhaps should offer an elastic waist for larger sizes as I suspect most smaller sizes don't need one. I have purchased many Lands End suits, but not any recently since LE discontinued its line of professional women's clothing. Please bring it back - my suits from 10 years ago still fit and are extremely well made, but they've got a sheen by now!

I had bought a pair of unlined LE trousers a couple of months ago, and since I've lost a little more weight they swim on me. Based on the reviews of these trousers, I didn't want to take a chance and ended up buying them in the same size rather than one size down. I tried them on last night and the fit around the waist was weird. The pockets bulged and the waist area was tight. I suspect it has something to do with the lining. They're beautiful, but I'll probably send them back since all other trousers fit right.

Very Comfortable suit pants
I matched with the Washable Wool 1 button blazer and have a fabulous suit reminiscent of the ones I used to purchase from Austin Reed. The trousers are lightweight tropical wool and have a traditional style just like I like. No hip huggers for me! The stretch in the waist is hidden (perfect!) and is just what I need in my active job!

I love these trousers.
These pants fit well and have the warmth of a wool blend, but are washable. The style is dressy enough for work. Best of all, the bit of elastic in the waist keeps them snug but comfortable, no belt needed. I hope Lands End comes out with more of these in other colors and fabrics.
