Our designer gave this time-honored style an update that works. Notice the braided suede strap. In a word, beautiful. As for comfort, Espadrille’s suede ankle strap is soft and supple to better shape to the contours of your foot. Also has a buckle with an elastic insert for a touch more “give.” Imported.

Extremely Poor Quality
The buckle is cheap and defective. There are also insufficient holes punched into the strap, making it a very tight fit around the top of your foot, near the ankle. Other than the strap and buckle, I loved the way the shoes looked. I'm returning my purchase.

Great sandal!
I bought these in the chestnut colour and they are wonderful. I wear a regular size 9 and found the sandals fit perfectly. They have a bit of arch support and some useful cushioning in the footbed, making them very comfortable. The heel height is casual and comfortable. I foresee getting a lot of wear out of these throughout the summer.

Great Sandal!!
I love it's comfort, I could walk in them almost all day. The footbed is very cushioned. It is NOT narrow as some reviewers claimed. In fact, I think they are on the wider side, and I ordered a Medium width. The black leather leaves black marks on my feet, but I'm not too worried that it will wash off. If they had a tan one, I'd buy those too. I'm interested in getting more sandals from Lands End. Perhaps a water-friendly sandal. And make more dressy sandals with this kind of comfort, please!

Too small--and no more holes in the ankle strap
I ordered a size 10, I can't get these on and the ankle strap cannot be loosened. I will return.

Love these sandals
I have these sandals in 3 different colors. They are very comfortable and I wear and 8M with a narrow heel. They are suede leather and I sprayed them with protector to keep them clean. The buckle is a little difficult but the sandal is comfy and makes your painted toes look so cute. Love them.

Very disappointed
I tried the medium width first and found them too narrow. So I ordered the wide, and the footbed is fine, but the ankle strap is too short. Such a shame cause I loved these sandals!

Had a defective buckle and not all that comfortable
I am done with Lands End. My original order was sent to the wrong address and even though I was told the shoes were to be forwarded they never arrived. By the time I reordered you no longer had the color in my size. This is always an issue whenever I have tried to order a seasonal product from LE. I ordered the replacement in another color only to find a defective buckle, which my husband was able to repair, and now that I have worn them a couple of times find that they are not really comfortable. There are too many other options to buy shoes and clothing on line that give faster better service and seem to maintain a better inventory. So good by Lands End.

What a great sandal - and not 5" high!
I love this sandal. It is classy, well-made, LOW HEELED (hooray!), and comfortable. Several reviewers noted that the front strap is tight at first, and it truly is. But the braiding seems to give a little so after a few wearings I think it will be fine.
I got the taupe (sand) shade and it is just dark enough to be all-purpose. I love the pink and olive, but these are too expensive for me to buy in those colors because I wouldn't get enough chances to wear them. I wish this sandal came in red and navy, though, as those are hard colors to find and the suede would probably be perfectly hued.
All in all I highly recommend these. On the pricey side (haven't all shoes gotten that way?) so watch for a promo.

A Great Addition to Any Closet!
I ordered this in wide and it is a perfect fit. The wedge is so small it's practically a flat shoe, so it's easy to walk in and comfortable. I bought this in natural and washed coral. I was disappointed and returned the washed coral because it was not as bright as it appeared in the catalog and online. But the natural shoe is a great addition to any closet! I expect to get a lot of wear from this shoe.

High quality shoe, but too narrow for MY foot.
The shoe length was fine, but it was too tight across my foot. Perhaps I should have tried the wide instead of the medium width.
