Love It!
I was so pleased when I tried on this dress. It fit perfectly, it is soft and lightweight, and it is definitely a dress I can wear to work. I am 5'8" tall and 165, and I ordered a Medium which is what I usually wear from Lands' End. The dress hits me at mid-knee. The waist is a little above my natural waist, but with the fabric belt, it looks OK. Actually, I like my dress waists a little above my natural waist, so this is great for me plus the flared skirt hides my "hippy" area.

pretty and light weight summer dress
I love this dress! I odered this dress in a small. I'm 5'-10" and weigh 150. I think the dress is very slimming and I like how light weight it is.

Great look, very good fit
I'm a sucker for a square neckline, so I really wanted this to work, and it does. I bought the orange dress (the brown makes the orange look more red, and the color is terrific) in Medium Petite. I'm a shortwaisted 5'5", and weigh about 155. Because I'm taller than most petites, the length is just at the knee but it doesn't look "short". The top of the dress is more fitted than I usually wear, but it does not look tight! What could be better?
Another reviewer remarked that the neckline does not lie correctly. This is true, because of the way the neckline is seamed, making the neckline roll forward and show the seamline. It's likely to be much more visible on the orange dress than on the green one. I had to get out needle and thread and do some discreet stitching to make the neckline lie straight and flat. But I'm not complaining.

Comfy mid season dress
I really like the feel of the fabric in this dress and the shape compliments a reducing (or growing) figure. The waist appears (with the addition of mock waist band) to be slightly higher than many other dresses and therefore suits a short waisted person like me. The cap sleeve is comfortable and not too short to look 'girlish'. Good length (just below knee). The square neckline is low enough to compliment but not too wide. My one criticism is the bust appears slightly more generous (or maybe I've lost weight there). Lovely fabric weight without needing a jacket in the cool of the morning and evening.

Perfect Spring Dress..
I love this dress. I ordered a petite M and I normally wear a sz M or sz 10 it fit great. The fabric was very soft and light, great dress for spring parties or even the office. The pattern is not overwhelming for my petite frame and the green in the dress is a little lighter than pictured almost a trendy mint color. I was really happy with this dress and wish this style came in other patterns/colors!

Very comfortable and flattering dress.
The dress fits well-the pattern and slight shirring camflouge figure flaws. I like the fact that it falls just below the knee and has cap sleeves for a more modest look.

Flattering!
Orange clothes are not normally something I buy, but I had a feeling this dress was going to make me look good...and it does! Fabric has a nice 'hand' to it, soft but not clingy. The floral pattern is perfect for summer. And the fit is spot on! Most LE clothes do not fit me quite right, but the Canvas sizing usually does; however, the Canvas styling is not always MY style. I ordered the XS and I'm 5'5" and 110 lbs.

Too short waisted!
I'm 5'8" and 146 pounds... not exactly a giant, so I thought I'd give it a try. I ordered both the small and the medium. The small was a better fit, but both dresses fell so far above my natural waist as to be impossible. They'll both be going back. Too bad. Why does Lands End cater to petites, but not those above 5' 7"? That's not so tall any more.

So pretty that I bought another one!
I had worried that this dress would look dowdy, but fear not! It is surprisingly chic--even more sophisticated in person than it is on the model pictured. In fact, I liked the orange print so much, I ordered the saffron as well. Petite sizing is perfect for my short waist.
