Fit needs to be re-engineered. Waist is in the wrong place.
I was so disappointed in this dress. I was so looking forward to wearing it. It hit me in the most unflattering spot. It hit above my waist and I consider myself to be short-waisted. I was going to give it to one of my daughters. Two of them tried it on and it was hideous on them too. Sad! First return to LE.

Lovely, but
Great pattern and fabric. The fit is true to size and the dress is comfortable to wear. But it didn't fit me quite right. I constantly found myself tugging at the waist.I expected a bit of a blousing, but the top was made quite short from shoulder seam to waist seam. As I'm petite this is usually not a problem area. I tried a larger size thinking it might solve the waist problem, but it still had the same problem. So both went back. I've very disappointed as I really wanted to love this maxi dress as I could see it as a versatile and comfortable summer lounger and coverup.

Just what I needed for a humid day!
I debated buying this dress. When it came, it was bigger than I was expecting, but I was fine with a maxi that's not skintight. Washed beautifully. Wore it in 88 degree humidity today and I was so cool. Flow and length is perfect for me - I'm 5'8.
I could wear it to work on casual Friday, but I know this will be a weekly 'go to' item in my closet for the hot summer days ahead. Love the comfort and the really cute sleeve detail. I don't even mind the elastic at the waist - it's a nice touch to keep it totally shapeless.

Sooooo comfortable
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this dress. It's light, flattering because the loose waist elastic gives some shape, INCREDIBLY comfortable, vneck but not too low cut, adjustable for the length of sleeves (goes from sleeveless to cap sleeve), cute with a light sweater and equally cute without, washes well. I am an xl / 1x. Versatile! When I come home it's the first thing I put on to feel cool and relaxed...I've worn it teaching in college and all over town and it's perfectly appropriate for any casual occasion. I wish this dress was offered in additional prints...the same print with green/white would be awesome. I would love additional summery prints instead of solids (but I have the solid black and like it too).

Slit is too high
The dress was okay- the fabric seemed a bit thin, and the slit opening came above my knee. I would've preferred a much smaller opening or non at all.

Nice fabric and pattern, but looks like a nightie, on.
I've been wanting a maxi for two summers, now, and I thought this one would be it. When it arrived, I discovered that the pattern and fabric were lovely. That said, once it was on, I felt like I'd just stepped into one of my mother's nighties. I just couldn't get past that bit, and feel like I was wearing a dress, so it went back.

This dress is very comfortable
I wore this dress to a beach cocktail party. It seems to be a little big in the waist but it fit good through the chest so I'm not sure I could go down a size. I think I will find a belt or sash for the next time I wear it.

Really great dress
I ordered this dress 1 size down after reading the reviews and it fits perfectly. So flattering and comfortable that I am going to order the navy as well. This is a great piece for so many occasions I may order a back of the print as well!

Now one of my favorite dresses!
I recently received this dress. I'm petite, 5 feet tall and weigh about 120 pounds. I wasn't sure how a maxi dress would look on me, but figured I'd give it a try. I ordered the petite xs. I love this dress! It fits perfectly - no binding, no gaps, no pulling. I like that I can adjust the sleeves/straps to highlight my upper arms. The waist is in just the right place and make my short torso look amazingly long. The length is perfect - ends just above my ankles, so no tripping over the hem or needing to take it up. The v-neck is just the right depth, low enough to show off nice collar bones, but not so low that I need to layer with a tank top. Even with the ties at the shoulders the dress layers beautifully with a thin sweater. The pattern is beautiful, not overwhelming on a petite frame. The two side vents are just the right length - the front/back doesn't go between my legs, but I have enough room to walk normally. The fabric is thick enough that there is no need to wear a slip, but light enough that I stay cool. The fabric is also amazingly soft inside. I wish there were more patterns and colors to choose because I would love to have one for each day of the week....much more comfortable and stylish than capris and a t-shirt for the warm weather!
