Women's Original Pattern Cotton V-neck Flare Dress
Truly Disappointing Fit
Wow, ordered an 18- when I fit a 16. This dress was about a size 12. Very wacky fit, and short? Material is not as pretty in person. Sort of '80s

Loved the idea of this dress, but...
I probably shouldn't have ordered a plus size but even though I went down a size the top was very baggy (and I am gifted on top). I didn't ask for an exchange because the fabric looked limp and dowdy. Imagine an old sofa with its bosoms hanging out. Returned immediately.

Pretty woman - yes!
I grabbed this in the store one sale - I usually wear a 12-14 because I am busty but they only had a 10. It works - I can't wear it to work because the cleavage it more than I'm typically comfortable with but I'll surely wear it to weddings/social events without a hitch. It is extremely light and airy, plus super flattering. Great dress - very classic.

Love it. Something fits!
I love this dress. It is light and summer ready for hot humid Florida. I usually wear a 14 but ordered a 16 since I am very busty (34 G) and nothing ever fits on top. It actually fits with breathing room. So great for me but would not be for a size 14/16 less endowed woman. I did have to fasten a pretty broach to keep the front from peeking out ( I like a bit more modesty). I got the chalk poppy and it is really pretty. I like that it has the built in liner. It is very comfortable and feminine.

Not for tall ladies!
I'm so disappointed! I'm 5'11" and this turned out to be way too short on me! Also, the bodice was one size too big. I have a 41 inch chest and the size 14 was way too big. I knew if I ordered down a size though it would still be way too short. :o( This is so pretty though and makes your body look great the way the bodice is cut. I don't think it would even require safety-pinning! I ordered white multi floral and the fabric seemed to have way more brown in it in person, but oh well. If you're shorter than me, give this dress a try!

I purchased this dress for an upcoming party and was very pleased with the fit. The dress fits nicely and to size. The length is great for a casual dress. The v-neck is deep so it maybe to deep for some. I love the fabric and the feel of the dress. There are also snaps on the inside of the shoulders to help hold your bra straps to the dress, great detail!

The dress is cute, and I like the elastic band in the back. Very comfortable and then gives a nice waist line look.
The fabric of the dress is tissue thin. Very lightweight. The dress is lined, so that helps, but the look of it is breezy and almost cheap.
I am going to keep the dress because I like the print (poppies) and the size and fit is nice for my body.

Great for Pear Shaped Ladies...Especially if you have large boobs!
Although I'm a size 16 on top 18 on bottom, I went for the 18 since it isn't a stretch fabric. I'll need to take the back in a little, but the front fit perfect as I have larger breasts. The chalk poppy color is great--which I wouldn't normally think--considering I'm plus size. It is amply long--I'm 5'10" and it's a perfect knee length. I plan to wear this with leggings, sweaters and heavy tights this winter and then can't wait for spring! The cut is really great and not frumpy--very good if you're curvy or larger on the bottom.

Very pretty dress
A cute, sweet dress for summer. My only complaint is that I am smaller on top (36B) with a short torso and the top of the dress is a little large while the rest fits beautifully. I had to make sure to sit up straight at dinner so the waitress couldn't look down my dress! But I like the dress so I might get the top taken in a bit to improve the fit.
The fabric is nice and light for summer and washed & dried nicely. Could use a light iron but is wearable out of the dryer.

Soft and feminine
I just got this dress in the post. I tried it on at Sears, but they didn't have a size that fit me. If you can, GO TO SEARS BEFORE purchasing this dress. I am usually a regular size 4-6 or Small at Land's End, but in this dress I needed a size 2. I'm not tiny at all (5'4", 120 lbs). But in this dress, the size 4 hung on me like a sack. I just don't get it. I have 20 year old clothing from Land's End that I still wear (quality is that good!). But back then, I wore a size 8 or M. And guess what, I'm exactly the same height and weight that I was then. But back to the dress: it's lovely and very feminine with a handkerchief weight cotton fabric and lining (in the pink and brown floral pattern). My husband loves it. Another great purchase from Land's End. I just wish they would standardize their sizing!
