My 12 year old says these make me look cool! Ha!
Low rise, below belly button. Length about 3 inches from knee. I'm 5'8", 145#, size 10-12 fits well. I especially like the cotton "short" under the poly short.

Great Shorts
I love these workout shorts. The fact that they are lined with a soft cotton material makes them very comfy. I wear a 10-12, so I ordered medium. The waist fits perfect, but the rest short is on the big side. I love them though and wear them to the gym all the time. I only gave it four stars due to the fact that there aren't any pockets.

great feel
I love the feel and roominess of the shorts. They are cut big and allow for ease of movement while exercising. The only downside is that It is missing pockets or a key pocket inside.

Nice material and length
Purchased black ones last summer; navy this spring. Great length for walking, yard work or quick errands. Material is substantial and comfortable. To improve they could add pockets and solid color without the white border. A bit pricey at regular price, but on sale not bad. They run a tiny bit large. I recommend!!

Lightweight & utilitarian
Great for hot weather workouts, these shorts are lightweight and fit the bill for those everyday change ups. Although I wish they had a key pocket, they make up for this omission in length! The longer length is more age appropriate for me. Good price and well-made.

Finally found good shorts for the gym!
As a middle aged woman carrying a little extra weight around on my hips and thighs, I've had a horrendous time trying to find shorts to wear to the gym. The ones I find are either the very short, low-rise shorts made for teenagers, or they're the form-fitting stretch shorts which look horrendous on me.
These work beautifully for me. They are lined, so are not flimsy, and are the perfect length. The drawstring is imperative for me as well as I have to by them big enough for my hips, but the waist always runs a little big. I would have given them five boats if they'd had a pocket somewhere.
One word of the caution...the white ones look like you're wearing boxers. I won't wear them to the gym, but the other colors are great.

Great athletic short for woman, not teen
This short fit the bill for me because I do not like low rise shorts. After kids, my body is not built for low rise shorts. I find it very hard to find athletic shorts that are not made for tiny teen bodies. These fit well, are comfortable and soft on the inside. The length might be long for some, but I am 5'10 with long legs so it works for me.
