Women's Mainstay Canvas Oxford Shoes
Mainstay for sure
I have found the sneakers I will stay with for the rest of my life if Land's End continues to carry them.
They are well made, sturdy, a classic in every sense of the word. I wear them all the time, have them in both blue and white and have one pair in reserve (unworn) so that I will always have an extra pair. They are the quintessential sneaker! I buy them on sale. I love them even more that way.

They are just what I have been looking for!
They are very sturdy and comfortable. I wear them almost daily and everywhere. I am an active 71 yr. old and need comfortable shoes that are also attractive. These fit the bill in every way.

I bought these shoes because I had been eyeballing them for a while and they went on sale. Even if they weren't on sale, they are a great shoe. The size is perfect. The toe area is slightly roomy but not enough to cause slippage. I wear no-show socks when I wear mine so I have had no issues with rubbing on the heel. I have worn these for an entire day on casual Friday as well as around the mall for a long afternoon of shopping and had no issues with discomfort. They really didn't feel heavy to me and have a little support built in. I absolutely love these shoes and am so glad I bought them. Plus they look really cute with shorts or jeans.

Sturdy Walking Shoe
Solid, comfortable shoe. Wider box so toes are not cramped -- a good thing. Would not wear these without socks as the canvas is pretty stiff.

A Summer Staple
I simply love this type of sneaker! These are a "touch" wide but I didn't mark them as that because they're great with a pair of low socks. I don't like the feeling of not having socks on in a closed shoe. The best part about them is that even though they are a bit "heavy" they're very comfortable to walk in.....my knees have severe arthritis in them so walking comfortably can be difficult. These sneakers have a dense enough sole to them that they kinda cushion your step. I was able to wear them almost all day at the farmer's market with minimal pain. They made the day very enjoyable.
I'm an artist so I painted mine ..... they're not only comfy & totally fun to wear, they go with all my summer clothes. I can't wear them anywhere without someone stopping me & asking about them....or wanting to order a pair for themselves!
Go ahead & order them.... I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I'm thrilled that Lands End is selling this shoe this year, I had multiple pairs of these in the past and glad they are back. Excellent canvas quality that I will wear year round, but especially in the summer. I purchased the white and the blue. Will wear with everything all summer long!

Nice Classic, but Heavy & Wide
Nice classic design & seems well made, but too wide. I usually wear a Narrow (A) or Medium (B), and this is a wide shoe for a Regular/Medium width. Too wide to keep, my foot moves around too much. This shoe is also surprisingly very heavy. I would likely have returned it, even it wasn't too wide.

Simple canvas shoe with a stylish touch
These shoes fit well as do all my Lands End shoes. I bought them in navy and I love the navy and white striped lining and the narrow strip of striped facbric at the back.
I also like the white soles - perfect for sailing!

Great pair of shoes!
First, a little history on what lead me to this shoe. I'd been wearing white CVO's made by Sperry for YEARS. All of a sudden, the quality dropped through the floor. A pair of them lasted 3 weeks and then the sole started splitting from the shoe itself. I thought "Okay, just a defective pair." I gave them the benefit of the doubt TWO MORE TIMES. Same exact result. Mind you, the Sperry CVO's are $75.00 a pair! So I went online and by accident found these at Lands End. I wasn't crazy about the stripes on the rear portion of the shoe, but I thought I'd give them a shot anyway. BEST DECISION I made about a pair of shoes in a LONG time! These are GREAT shoes, and they are much more reliable than the Sperry CVO. They don't cost as much as Sperry, and so far, they are holding up VERY well. I have a navy pair and a white pair, and I wear one pair each day, alternating depending on what I am wearing, so these shoes get a LOT of use. Also, there was no period of "break-in" or adjustment when I first got them. I put them on and wore them right away for 12 full hours and my feet felt GREAT afterwards.

Stiff and uncomfortable
Although generally I am quite pleased with Lands' End shoes, these are an exception. They are more of a narrow width than a medium width, are stiff and uncomfortable, and I feel they're overpriced for the quality. There is nearly nothing I like about them and I rarely wear them. For me, these didn't work out.
