Like it but......
I did like it very much but a couple of things needed addressing. The back pleat was not stitched and so on opening and trying it on it was already curling up. Secondly I had read a number of reviews and they said it was a big fit so I bought a 10 and needed a 12, not Landsends problem but still living in Australia it costs even to return to the Aussie address.
Love your outerwear though. Quality is always great.

Fit Perfect, quality product
I ordered this coat for a Christmas present for myself. I am 118 lbs, 5'5", with long legs and slim, but wear LOTS of layers. I ordered a Size 8. I am always cold and this coat not only looked professional and fit perfectly, it kept me warm in 30 degree weather. It is very comfortable and unlike other Pea Coats I've purchased, I didn't have to sew a button on all winter. Very high quality material. Highly recommend!

Order a size larger than what you take
I love this coat. Do yourself a favor and order a size larger, even if you NEVER do this with other clothes. Looks great with dress slacks and jeans, and is really, really warm.

Size Up
I am very satisfied with my insulated pea coat. I would recommend purchasing a size larger than you would normally take. I usually wear a 6P but had to return it for an 8P and it fit fine. I purchased the black because it goes with everything. The coat is of good quality and very warm which is exactly what I was hoping for because I'm usually very cold and desire a warm coat. You can get away with a thin sweater under it but nothing too bulky as the coat is rather fitted. Overall, very stylish and warm!

Perfect fit!
I have been wanting a new pea coat for some time and have been unable to find a good replacement for my old favorite. When I discovered this one at Lands End and that it had the quilted inside, I was sold. I was able to use the Live Chat in order to get help finding the right size. I am 5 ft 4in and athletic build. I got a size six reluctantly thinking it would be big, but it fits perfectly. It even has a tailored fit that make it feel and look good.
The hardest decision was to settle on one color. Excellent product!

I got the coat in the dark grey color. Looks nice for dressy and casual.
It fits great at a size 8 as I recently lost weight. Sleeves are nice and long for my long arms. I thought it might be a bit warmer for the cold weather we have here in Northern WI, but again, I lost weight/fat and I am colder than normal. I love the buttons and the over all styling. I would have given it five stars had it made me a bit warmer.

Nice weight
I bought a size larger than I usually purchase so that I could fit a sweater underneath it -- which I can. It is a nice weight and the insulation provides more warmth than in "normal" pea coats. It is not scratchy against my neck. It fits well around my arms and hips but the shoulders are a bit wide, but that was expected.

The coat fit tight through the shoulders and I returned it.
I ordered the coat in both a size 10 and a size 12, since I didn't know which size would fit me best. Both coats were tight through the shoulders. Also, I was disappointed in the quality of the wool. I returned both coats. I shop a lot at Lands End, so I am always surprised when I purchase something and it is not up to their usual standards.

Not cut for teens
Nice jacket, but WAY too boxy for my tall, thin teen daughter even in the smallest size. Sadly, we had to send it back. Looked to be warm and well-made, tho.

Beautiful, high quality coat.
This is without a doubt a beautifully made, top-quality coat. The price is just incredible for what you get. The wool is soft, and the details really set it apart from other coats in its price range. I've wanted a pea coat for years, and I'm very glad I went with Land's End when I decided to finally splurge.
I live in Utah, and it keeps me as warm as any other coat I've owned. The top button under the collar closes the neck on super cold days. My only tiny caveat as that this coat is pretty boxy, and the back does kick out a bit at the rear. My fiance insists it's still stylish and that I don't look big in it, but perhaps consider sizing down for a better, more flattering fit. I'm 5'7" and 135 lbs and bought the size 8 based on the sizing chart, but probably would have done better with a size 6. I like it too much to return now (and it definitely has room for extra layers, which is nice), but I'll go down a size next time I order from Land's End. Gorgeous coat, warm, excellent quality, super classy-looking. Highly recommend.
