Women's Long Sleeve Stripe Felted Wool Jacket
It's just what I thought it would be.
I bought this knowing it was big and boxy. But I often buy wool items a bit big and then shrink them down. That's what I did with this. I'm small, so I bought the medium. Upon receipt, I washed it in warm water with a cold water rinse. Then I hung it on a plastic hanger to dry, making sure the shoulders were stretched to the width of the hanger. The next morning, the fit was great: the width had shrunk in on the sleeves and torso while he length was maintained by hanging the sweater to dry.

I got this for Christmas (at my request) and I just love it. It's warm and comfortable and looks great. DEFINITELY size down, like the other reviewers have said. (I'm 5'10" and I got the size 6-8, which I was worried about, but it fits perfectly.) I love the big collar and the snaps make it extra interesting. Other than a few "candy cane" comments at Christmas (yes, I got red), I have no complaints!

NOT as pictured!
This looks so lovely in the photo online, on the model: sporty, preppy, cozy, and *fitted*-- even though it looks long and roomy enough; right for layering. Sadly, the item is NOT anywhere near what is pictured. I suppose it is my fault for not reading the reviews before I ordered; perhaps the wonderful sale price distracted me. The item is HUGE-- the medium is like an XL (this is not an exaggeration); maybe bigger. It certainly is not long and lean as represented in the photo. The color is also on the orange side (versus a cooler cherry or even a truer red). I was so disappointed because it looks adorable in the photos. I cannot even guess how they made it look like it does on the model. Did it come in long and she's wearing the XS? Makes me wary of Lands' End's sizing.
The one positive is free shipping, even for returns.

Well Made & Soft - size down
I bought this in the "red flame" and it is definitely a rusty-red color. Take note of the collar because it is VERY butterfly & I somehow didn't notice that when I was buying this one. In addition, it definitely runs large/boxy - so size down if you want a more fitted look (like the model).
The sweater material is soft and should keep warm on office/fall days. I bought a size too large, so am hoping to return for a smaller size.

Runs big for comfort
I just received this sweater and I'm very happy with it. I normally vary between a medium and large with lands end. I ordered a large because I wanted this to be roomy for layering. It definitely does run big if you want a fit like the model has in the picture I would definitely size down but for me I'm happy with the fit for layering. The bottom of the sweater is larger so it's more of an A-line cut but for us pear shaped girls like me this really works!

This was a disappointing selection. The main complaint is with the knit fabric. I wore it once while sitting in an office and was dismayed to see considerable pilling all over, with many little bits left on chairs, car seats, etc. After one wearing it looks unattractive. The snap closures give the item an even cheaper appearance. The cut's a bit odd, but maybe it works better for a taller woman. At 5' 5", I looked dumpy in it. Back it goes.
