Women's Long Sleeve Shaped Supima Turtleneck
Plastic strips in shoulder seams
Please Land's End, explain to us why plastic with sharp edges is needed in shoulder seams. This makes your turtlenecks unwearable. And yes, we can take apart the seams and remove the plastic, and sew the seams again. Yet, why is this necessary?

I have worn LE turtlenecks for years. I love the soft interlock cotton fabric. But now they are using plastic elastic on the shoulder seams that is very irritating on my skin. Fortunately, I can sew, so I've sewn the seams flat, and bar tacked on the ends so that the plastic in not exposed. The thread has to match perfectly so it does not show up. Would I buy them again? Probably, just because of the fabric and the fit. This one keeps it's shape. My old ones, a size larger because I've lost weight, have not.

pilled after a few washes
Bummer, I liked the blush rose heather turleneck at first, but after only a few washes it has tiny pills all over. Now it looks like cheap material that has been worn a lot. Very disappointed and surprised. Returning.

I'm at the tail end of my 50's so I am fairly certain that I know what size I wear . I've been shopping Land's End for decades. One thing I'm finding enormously frustrating regarding sizing. I ordered this sweater in M and S but both are too long, too baggy and they have been returned. Even tucked in they have absolutely no shape. Very disappointing - the colors are beautiful, the sweater is soft and felt nice to the touch as supima does. However, the sizing issues have happened repeatedly in the past 6 months with nearly every purchase of sweaters I've placed, all but 1 returned. I've tried Med, Small, Petite M, Petit S but to no avail, nothing fits ( too large or too small) . i've I said "Yes" to I would recommend this product because the sweater is lovely and well made. My advice would be, if you are able, to order numerous sizes and hope that one of them fits *and* looks good on you bc the price is great on sale.

Order a size up, if you're not built like Audrey Hepburn
The substantial weight of the fabric and construction merit a good rating. However, I was disappointed to find that my regular size (Regular small) was too tight on me. I normally like Lands End Fit 2 or 3, but I found that this T-neck was too tight, for like a Fit 1. I have very narrow shoulders (5'4 and 138 lbs) and wear a size 6-8 jacket, but the shoulders on these were too narrow. The shoulder/sleeve seams bowed in toward my neck. And the overall fit was too tight. The neck was too tight too. Back they go, although I may try a size Medium to see if this is any better

Shrinks in length; neck widens after washing
I have purchased LE turtlenecks for years, however, I am so disappointed with this purchase. I washed it in cold water, dried it on low, for 10 minutes only, to get the wrinkles out. The neck is now way too wide and the length of the body has shortened considerably. It has now been relegated to a "work in the yard" or other around the house function.

All the Right Features
Beautiful soft fabric with just a little stretch for comfort, stylish contemporary colors without being faddish, great fit. Love the height of the turtleneck and how it scruches up right under my chin. Love the cut, not too boxy, not too fitted (not what I expected from 'shaped' but there you go) and I love the extra bit of sleeve length that goes past my wrist. I also love the tailored no-cuff detail of the sleeve. I'm 5'6 and ordered medium. Got charcoal heathered gray and black, wish there was a medium heather gray as well. Fabric too dressy for my physical outdoor job but they will get there eventually. And at a reduced price you can't do any better than this. I haven't washed yet but will not put in the dryer - I never do with cottons. I'd rather have the finer fabric than the treatment it requires to make something no-shrink.

Not the same fabric as previous supima
blush rose heather is bubblegum pink. the fabric is stretchier,,not as nice as other year's supima. I will keep it but would prefer the previous version.

I think I buy more turtlenecks from LE than 20 women combined! I usually buy the thinner ones, but this turtleneck is one fine piece of work. It is sooo soft and fits great! It is shaped beautifully, the sleeves are perfecto, and I love the colors. Keep them coming!
