Women's Long Sleeve Midcalf Sleep-T
Ok, but different from past versions
I have been generally frustrated by the LE decline in clothing quality (in recent years). But I felt I could still buy the sleep T and it would be great as usual. Not so with this particular item (navy). Fabric is heavier, sleeves are a little too long, mid section and sleeves are cut narrower. I kept the 2 I purchased, but am forced to wash with like colors since I discovered the hard way that the color bleeds!

Love it - a real staple
Very happy to review this positively - I love it - good quality fabric and fit - and as I live in Australia and pay as much in postage (over $35) as the sleep t itself it's just as well! Have bought three. I'd buy short sleeve too if there were better colours. I wish someone from Land's End would comment on our comments - GET SOME DECENT COLOURS! Not a foul mauve and granny print. Is anyone out there? Are you listening?! Want to sell lots more? Black, navy, red ........

As good as it ever was!
After reading some reviews that stated this nightgown was now made of thin, cheap fabric, and that the sizing was no longer the same, I was hesitant to buy another one. I have three of these that I have bought over the last eight or nine years, the last one having been purchased about 2-3 years ago. I love them! I wear them literally every night September through May, so they are just wearing out. I went ahead and purchased another one in my same Lands End size (medium) and was not disappointed at all! The fabric is still a medium weight -- substantial without being heavy, and definitely not see-through. The neckline doesn't choke, the sleeves don't bind, and there's plenty of room in the bust and hips without feeling like you're wearing a tent. To give you an idea of how this might fit on you, I'm an average gal: 5'8", 155 lbs., 41-33-41. This gown is perfect!
There was another nightgown offered several years back that had a henley neckline and was made of significantly heavier cotton knit (I bought one of those, too!). Maybe some reviewers who are disappointed in the weight of this fabric were thinking of that other one . . . . ?

My wife finds the Sleep-T extremely comfortable. It doesn't ride up or get tied in knots and washes very well.

Shrinks and twists
My mother loves these so I keep buying them for her. But for this price, I think they should not shrink and twist.

Not what it used to be
I have been wearing sleep Ts for years now and have an ivory and a heather gray sleep T that I love. This latest version of the sleep T retains the basic shape and style, which I like, but the material does not have the structural integrity of the previous version. Instead of laying smooth and flat, the fabric is soft and rumply and a bit clingy. If you get this one on sale, it's an okay value, and I doubt I would do better if I took the time to run from store to store. But I'd much prefer to pay a bit more for nightwear that I can recommend whole heartedly. The thrill of replacing one of my wardrobe staples at a good price has been replaced by the "meh" of getting an okay item for an okay price. Sales have kept me visiting Lands End, but if I'm not getting the quality, why bother? I can get sale prices anywhere.
While I'm complaining...why not offer colors that look good on a wider range of skin tones? There's lots of white and almost no ivory in the catalog overall, and while the lavender here is fine, I'd have much preferred a warmer soft color. The narrow range of color choices for sleep Ts kept me from buying one for months.

I liked this nightdress so much that I ordered this particular one as a present for my sister . The colours on offer are limited, I would love to see some stripes or flowers. The length is good and the cotton fabric has that lovely stretch to it making it the perfect garment to curl up in on a cold winter's night.

This nightgown is quite comfortable. I have washed it a few times and there has been no shrinking or anything odd. It looks as good as new. I am quite satisfied with the purchase and I know this item will last a long, long time and maintain itself well.

The fabric is so soft and comfortable. The fit is great even for my long arms. And I had short sleeved one that lasted for years--stayed comfortable and never shrank. LOVE Lands End sleepwear!

So much more comfy than pj's
Great fit, soft against the skin and very comfy. I ordered a second one. Hadn't worn a gown in years because they were either that slick material that is uncomfortable regardless of the season or woven material, which I find scratchy. Also liked the slight v-neck as crews can end up pulling on your neck when you roll around in the night. Hope you keep this style.
