Women's Long Sleeve Lofty Cotton Blend V-neck Sweater
too short for plus size tall girls
The sweater would be great - if the sizing was better. It's just too short for the average plus size girl. Quality seemed okay and the fabric was a nice heavy weight. Just bad proportions. I've ordered lots of tops from LE before, so i'm comparing it to other tops in a 3x size.

Lands End needs more quality control
Out of the three sweaters I ordered in this style, I had to return two of them for obvious flaws / snags in the knit, right in the front by the neckline. The black one faded quickly, as do all black sweaters from LE -- another quality issue. I do like the fit, though, for my 5' 4" height.

Flattering and comfortable
Wow. I just discovered this in late March. I love this sweater. And it came in so many spring colors and they are GONE, with the sales. Scooped up. I will have a black and a raspberry ice. Mostly cotton, but the "lofty knit" gives it some substance so it does not reveal every plus-size flaw you would rather cover. Very flattering. A bit shorter length which looks better on me at 5'3". I hope LE will bring these back in more colors for autumn too. Wonderful transitional cotton sweater. Fits true to size.

This is NOT like the V-neck sweaters I've gotten from LE in the past. It's very unflattering and unshapely. I would not buy this again.

Bought a green, white and yellow after sweater mostly sold out. I'm very pleased with nice wide v-neck, fabric (no pilling yet), weight, and some of the more versatile colors, though I'd add more beiges, extra teal since that goes fast these days, a camel or mushroom, perhaps an ivory--and a curry lemon like the older swimsuit color, all colors that play a little better with others. I'd also run the Regular longer by an inch or two. Does anyone else feel there need to be more Talls available in almost every LE top with a tall version? People who might normally wear Regular are buying out the Talls in many styles because the low pant waists these days make regular length impractical, and/or many of us have imperfect torsos that are flattered by this semi-boxy cut. So, something closer to lower hip would help and would leave the Talls for really tall people (over my 5'8"). I think that's only fair. Thanks for a nice job on the sweater LE.

Feels wonderful, but awful neckline
First, the negative: see how wide the neck is in the photo? That's pretty accurate. If I wore this with no tank or tee underneath, my bra straps would show. It's not flattering - it looks like they didn't realize how wide it would lay when it was designed. Now, the positive: the sweater itself is great. Feels soft and luxurious yet sturdy. The sizing is perfect. I got the red and love it. Once they fix the neckline, it will be a 100% winner.

Hangs beautifully, gorgeous colors, interesting blend.
I love this sweater which I now own in a half dozen colors. The colors are beautiful and it hangs very well. It is perfect for winter occasions when you know you are going to be in an overheated room, and I think it will be great during those transitional months where 100% wool is too warm and 100% cotton is not enough. I wash it in the machine on gentle and dry it flat (no dryer).
