Women's Long Sleeve Herringbone Blouse
Love this shirt.
I purchased the black shirt with white buttons. Love the shirt. It fits great, with a little bit of stretch. Great for fall and a great price.

beautiful shirt, washes and wears like a dream...I wish it was offered in more colors...the herringbone pattern is a lovely touch!

Petite runs a bit small
I am in between petite and regular sizes and tried size 4 petite and size 4 regular both in blue. I found that neither really fit me that well. I'm slightly above 5' 4" and the petite was both short in length and the sleeves were a little too short. The regular shirt was slightly long everywhere and looked a bit oversized. If I had to choose one or the other I would have chosen regular instead of petite, although for other items I have purchased from Land's End petite has been a better fit. I liked this style a lot and wish it would have worked for me!

Beautiful fabric and good fit
This is one of my all-time LE favorites. I have this blouse in true blue, Aegean green, and black. The fabric is soft, wears well, washes nicely, doesn't need ironing unless you want a really crisp look, and is light without being too thin. I appreciate the subtle, elegant herringbone pattern. Lands End, please continue making this blouse, and provide it in more colors! How about forest green, rich red, dove gray, peach, and aqua? Also, color-matched buttons (or natural shell) would be a nice touch.

a black shirt should have black buttons
I bought one size larger, having had previous experience with a similar LE shirt that ran a little small. The larger size fits well, and it looks fine untucked. The herringbone pattern is very subtle, which I like. I agree with the other reviewer who commented that white buttons are not appropriate on a black shirt and make it look cheap. And of course the buttons are sewn on with white thread, so when the collar is open and the sides of the shirt flop back, the white thread really stands out. Spend the extra 50 cents, Lands End, for black buttons and black thread. I would recommend this shirt to someone who doesn't mind replacing the buttons. If sewing is not your thing, or if you just don't want to be bothered with a project like that, give this one a miss.

This is a nice shirt. It is a little tight for me in the shoulders but I am not proportioned correctly. I think I should have bought a size larger. It is a good quality shirt and I like the pattern, style and color.

Fabric too thin
I got one of these shirts in blue last year and realized the fabric is fairly thin. When I bought the one I am now rating, I got it in white at 1/2 price. The white one is probably the same weight fabric as the blue, but without color as opacity, I can see my skin under the white fabric - and I have pretty pale skin. Also the upper sleeves were tighter than my blue one - wonder why? So, even at the good price, it had to be returned. I will say though, it is a lovely blouse.

I quite like this blouse. I'll wear it for years, I can tell.
It keeps its shape and is very professional looking. However, I found that it fit small across the bustline.

Good shirt but rather thin.
Good quality shirt, but much thinner than I expected. Very light weight, which is fine if that's what you want. I prefer a heavier shirt, but the quality is good and it fit well so I kept it. True to size.

Beautiful shirt, sleeves too long
The herringbone fabric is handsome and distinctive and feels nice, and the Aegean green color is unique . I wear LE medium in most knit tops and sweaters, but I'm big on top so ordered a 12, and fit fine across the bust. The sleeves, however, were way too long--they hung down past my knuckles, nearly to the end of my thumbs. Although I am just 5'5 I don't have particularly short arms, and I usually buy regular sized shirts.
