Women's Long Sleeve Fair Isle Drop Shoulder Merino Sweater
I've had my eye on this great looking sweater for a long time and finally ordered it while a sale was on. It looked so substantial and colorful in the online picture. Disapointing in both aspects. Thin, loose-knit and the colors weren't as vibrant as pictured. The fit was fine but it was sent back.

The fit is great - a little large. I usually wear 10 or Medium, but I ordered a Large, knowing it was lightweight and I didn't want it to be too wrinkly. Large was too big, so I sent it back for a Medium.
The fabric is so soft, the colors are gorgeous, and i highly recommend this sweater!

soft and beautiful
This sweater is a gorgeous, soft material. It does get a little "hairy" on the fair isle pattern but I think that will go away after a few wears/dry cleans. Beautiful, rich olive green color, looks just like the picture. Based on reviews, I went with the XS. I'm 5'4", 135lbs, hourglass figure and a 34C on top. The XS is perfect, though the arms are slightly too snug to wear a sleeved shirt under (which I probably wouldn't do anyway), so it's perfect! A S would have been perfect for a slightly looser fit. It is fairly short, but not unflattering or boxy. I like how the bottom band draws the sweater in a bit around the hips. I'm excited to wear this through fall and winter!

This was a beautiful sweater that my daughter absolutely loved.
This sweater is beautiful and of very high quality. My daughter absolutely loved it, although it was a little big for her. She will return for a smaller size but loves the sweater and will keep it.

Beautiful, comfortable, casual or dressy, perfect!
Runs *big* overall - I usually wear Large for sweaters but went down to a Small (and I'm 5'10"!). The small is just perfect from sleeve length, body length, width, and looseness at scoop of neck...and it still is somehow able to accommodate the underblouse in the picture! This is a simply lovely, well-made sweater even more attractive in person. The great colors woven in the fabric allows for a variety of coordinating colors - and the outfit shown (with mustard pants, which I bought after the sweater, and which also look great) really does look that good in perfect. Soft, soft fabric. I believe that for most women the lower scoop neck can also be worn with a tank. The combination option of Casual and Dressy is great - even as it relates to being able to wear a more or less dressy piece of jewelry that does not have to sit on top of a warm sweater. It is well worth the money - but I managed to get mine on sale! Hoping LE will provide more options of sweaters in this style - helps prevent overheating on cool -- even in the coldest of days (today was 35) with a LE down coat and longsleeved LE shirt! Have received several compliments. Buy it!

the sweater is a good fit
I am anxious for cold weather in Oklahoma to hit. The sweater is amazing. Good fit and very flattering. Quite different than your usual fair aisle !!

Gorgeous but not for me
I was so excited to receive this sweater, and so crushed when I put it on and realized that it looked awful on me. I have broad shoulders, and the dropped shoulder design with the Fairisle design running down the shoulder was extremely unflattering. I loved the neckline, and the fabric was wonderful and soft. I had checked the bust sizes with the LE people before I ordered (44 1/2" for a Medium, 47 1/2" for a large and 49 1/2" for the XL), and realized it ran huge, so I ordered the Medium which fit my busty self.

Wool pills a bit at first
I like the pattern, the colour and easy fit of this sweater, but although I've not worn it a lot so far it seems to develop pilling where the arms meet the body of the sweater.
Hoping this doesn't affect the wear too much.
Fits true to size.

Very nice quirky sweater
It's a nice dark green with the fair isle design in nice abstract fall colors. It's a very soft merino mix with a very fine knit great for layering under a vest. I got a medium petite because I wanted it to be roomy which it is without being bulky. The sleeves are the most interesting thing about it because since I wear vests which would normally cover up the design, the appearance is of a tea shirt sleeve showing off the nice design out of the vest. When I first put it on I thought it looked a bit odd, but when I saw it with my vest I changed my mind and I now describe it as "Quirky". I like it a lot.
