Women's Turkish Terry Calf Length Robe
This robe is of good quality, but I was very disappointed in color!!!!
I purchased men's and women's terry robe for a wedding shower gift. I also opted to monogram these robes...imagine how disappointing it was to receive them and discover they were different shades of blue!!!

Too big. Very poor quality turkish terry cloth.
Called to ask if it was sized big or small & was told to get a medium (ordinarily wear small) It arrived & was enormous. Loops pulled all the time. Poor quality fabric. I was surprised as I purchase so many things from LE.

Love Ths Robe
I bought this robe a year ago and just love it. I had used a simlar one in a 4 Star Hotel years ago and had always vowed to get a nice Plush Terry Robe myself one day. This one is everything I had hoped for. I do not know if it is oversized as i ordered up in size so that it would be. It has completely changed my bath routine to one of luxury. I have washed it many times and it is still the Plush Terry Robe I originally bought. I do wash in cold water and dry in a warm(not hot) dryer along with my Lands End Towels. Thank you for answering my dreams!!!

Just be aware that this robe runs quite large (I am about 5'5" and 128 lbs and I am swimming in a size small) and is made of a very substantial, bulky terry cloth. If that is what you are looking for this is a great robe. But if you want something "light-weight," as advertised, you will be disappointed by this product.

Warm and cozy
I think this is my fourth or fifth terry robe; over the years I've come to associate it with relaxing. Soft and warm and perfect for curling up with a good book.

the sizing was much too big in length and width
Everything else was good except the length, waist and sleeves too long, it was very, very oversized. I purchased an extra small!!

I purchased this robe more than a year ago. I really didn't need another robe at the time, but because it was on sale and it was Lands' End, I bought it for future use. I buy from Lands' End both online and in the store at Sears and usually am very satisfied with the quality of the clothing. I recently decided to wear the robe after a shower. I have worn it just a few times for that purpose and it has been washed once. I am extremely disappointed in the quality. It snags easily and looks like I have worn it for years. I have another terry robe (a different brand) that I have worn for years (at least 12 or 15) and it still looks brand new in comparison. Also, it was a lot cheaper. I've noticed that I am not the only customer that has complained about the quality of this robe. Please find a better quality of terrycloth for the Lands' End Brand. Our towels don't wear out after one washing, bathrobes shouldn't either.

Practical and Utilitarian (some areas need a re-design)
I purchased this robe about 6 years ago because I needed and wanted a 100% terrry cloth robe and could not find it in the stores. The majority of stores if they sold bathrobes at all sold cotton knit bathrobes in thigh lengths, or fleece robes. I looked online and found yours six years ago. The robe is now in tatters after weekly washing and because it snags especially the pockets which have repeatedly caught on doorknobs. I am 5'4 about average for an American women so these pockets need to be lowered or raised so they won't catch on doorknobs. The lope to hang the robe up broke after a month. The fabric is less than ideal it looked like I had owned this robe for twenty years after just a month of use. This is unacceptable. On a side note, I don't understand the need for long sleeves with rolled ends on bathrobes. If anything a robe should be the one item of clothing for women that has a 3./4 sleeves. I suggest you either get rid of that roll at the end of the sleeve, it serves no purpose, tack it down or provide a long strap and button on the outside sleeve so I can hold it buttoned out of the way. The less expensive and money saving option while keeping the traditional look would be to consider a 3/4 sleeves. On every item of women's tops, dresses or blouses I detest 3/4 sleeves. I find it an insult, a way of disrespecting women, we want to save money so we only offer you 3/4 sleeves instead of full length sleeves. You don't find 3/4 sleeves on men's top so don't put them on mine except for the bathrobe of course. On a bathrobe a 3/4 sleeve would make sense. I would not be constantly trying to roll and keep the sleeves up while I wash the sink, clean the tub or make breakfast. Also offer this robe in an ankle length style for plus size women because by the time we sit down on our big bottoms the length of the calf length robe is hitting us behind the knees and our lower legs are cold.
In summary change the following.
robe hanging lope make it stronger
3/4 length sleeves
Offer in ankle length for plus size women.

This bathrobe is a little too bulky for my tastes.
The bathrobe was a pretty lavender which matched the nightgown perfectly. However, I wanted the robe for the summer and it was just too bulky--too much fabric to really tie the tie in front, sleeves too bulky when rolled up. It just was not what I was looking for.

If you are looking for a very fluffy, heavy robe to wear for warmth, this is for you
I wanted this robe to replace the terry robe I wear for a short time when I get out of the shower and this is not the one. It is very heavy and very long - just too much material. If you are looking for a heavy robe to keep you warm, then this might be for you. For me, it was too much and I returned it.
