Not recommended for tall thin women
I was very impressed with the quality of these leggings but not with the fit. The rise is rather short and the waistband pulled down. Additionally, they were a bit baggy in the hip and thigh area. I am 5'7" tall and rather slim and normally wear a small or medium in most brands of leggings and they have a nice snug fit but these pants did not fit that way. Returned them.

Okay, but you can do better by buying the Starfish leggings
I rated these leggings as fitting big, but it is just the waist that is big. These leggings aren't bad, but the waist keeps falling down and you have to pull them up all the time...and I'm not a skinny person, just average. I highly recommend that you spend the extra money and get the Starfish brand from Lands' End instead. The Starfish brand is wonderful and really worth the price difference.

Why pay extra for the Starfish? These are the same if not better!
OK--ordered both the Starfish and the regular leggings. I found the fabric and fit exactly the same. Why pay the extra? The only thing I wish I'd done, would have been to follow my gut and get the petite. The 26" inseam scared me, so I purchased the regular. A bit of bunching at the ankles with the regular--the petite would've been perfect. (I'm 5'3, 165 lbs. and wear a petite medium). Great item Land's End!

First time I ever wore size small "pants" in my life!
Based on the reviews, I ordered a size small and despite the fact that the waist is too large, these are nice leggings. They are long enough that they bunch up just a tad to provide a "ruching" look at the ankle which I like. I am 5' 7". They are soft and comfortable, but I find myself pulling them up periodically because of the large waist. In general, I like them and will keep them.

Love them!
Ordered 2 more pair. Both L & M sizes fit well and I like the feel of the fabric. I hope the fabric retains the dye, but so far, so good.

Too short, not as nice as previous pair
I bought these to replace my previous pair bought from Lands' End that were 15 years old-talk about quality! Unfortunately, I do not think these are of the same quality. At 5'10, they are also too short, coming to about mid shin, nowhere near my ankles.

Best tights I ever had!
These tights fit snugly without binding. They are soft and did not fall down all day. Their smooth look is stylish.

bring back talls!
These are wonderful leggings, but the talls were not available. I tried the regular length, but had to return them. They were 3-4 inches too short!

Terrific but...
As many others have noted the waist on these is ridiculous. I sized down as a result of other's comments, and they are still not very snug. I find them slipping a bit when I am really active. They are so comfortable (and the length is great for me at 5'8") that I am keeping them in spite of the waist issue.
Lands End, it would seem like a good idea to address the waist issue for next year. Thanks.
