Pretty but...
The vibrant colors and chunkiness of this sweater is what first attracted me to it. When I received it, I was thrilled with the color and softness of the sweater. Loved the length (I'm 5'4") and the side slits along with looking like a well-made hand knit sweater. The sweater looks great with a pair of jeans! However, I found that the weave was not tightly knitted and the yarn definitely pilled. I also found that sweater while feeling soft, was scratchy against my skin which could be because of the 10% wool. I hand-washed the sweater in Woolite and laid it flat to dry. The pilling remained and the yarn seemed to stretch a bit. As much as I like the look of this sweater, sorry Lands End, it's coming back to you. It's just not worth the price even on sale or with a 30-40% off offering.

Beautiful colors and quality, very short in the body
Vibrant colors, very good quality, nice and thick, looks great with jeans, navy dress pants, skirt. Way too short in the body for anybody over 5 foot 4....

Not as expected, but still nice
First off, I really thought this sweater would have a substantial, chunky feel to it -- not so. It was actually quite light, and the yarn much softer than I expected. Second, the stripe is not as pink as shown in the pictures; it's definitely more of a true red (should have trusted the description "candy apple"). It's nice, but I was hoping for the navy/pink combo shown. It does fit close to the body, I would not recommend sizing down. If I had paid full price I would definitely return it because it is pretty light and I'm not sure how well it will wear over time, but for the sale price it's a keeper.
