Women's Fleece Lined Outrigger Parka
Wonderful coat for spring.
My usual Lands End size M fits great. I am 5' 8" and the body and sleeves are a good length. Love the hood and that it can be tucked away.

Attractive parka, could be warmer in sleeves
I ordered this after sending back a bulky squall parka that was quite warm but was uncomfortable and made me look like a stuffed sausage. This parka looks very attractive and fits well. I got the Large as I am a "cold" person and like to wear bulky things under my coats to keep warm. According to the size chart, I could have fit a Medium (12) but I am glad I got the Large. Colors were limited to royal blue and dark navy, so I got the dark Navy which is almost black but looks good, I will be able to wear it to work. While the body is lined with a fairly lightweight fleece, the sleeves are not (and my arms don't feel very warm), nor is the stowaway hood lined with fleece. The coat does zip up well and fits nicely at the neck, and the cuffs are adjustable with Velcro. Thanks goodness it has a single and not a double zipper at the bottom as the double zippers always give me trouble fastening them. It looks like it would be easy to pack to take on a trip. It is a very comfortable and attractive parka, but you will need to wear layers if the weather is "cold", and you like to be warm. I consider this a spring and fall parka, not a winter one.

this coat is perfect if you don't want to be wet under rain it doesn't have any lining inside so you can combine with any sweater, depending how cold is the weather.

This is the perfect light coat.
I bought the medium in black and I love it. It fits perfectly ( I am 5'5 145lbs) and looks great. I wear it to "work casual" appointments and everything else. I have traveled with it many times and it packs well and looks fine afterward. The longer length is just what I wanted especially since I also use it as a raincoat. The sleeves are not fleece lined so it's not too warm. I have had so many compliments. My friend borrowed it and is now getting her own.

I am an LE L size, I ordered an L and it fit perfectly. It is very comfortable but feminine. Light but warm perfect for a spring like weather which we have here( cold at nights and when it rains). It's a very casual jacket and I wear it to run errands or to walk at the park. I ordered the blue and its a lovely color. It's just what I expected. Very happy with the purchase.

Good for autumn, spring wear
I got this jacket in the bright blue because I have so many black coats (more color choice would be nice, but the blue is fine for a casual coat). I wear it almost every day running the kids to school, to the store, walking the dog -- my work is casual so I can wear it to work. For my region this jacket is ideal; just warm enough and rain resistant. If you live somewhere with colder weather, it may not be enough. I am average frame at 5' 6" and the medium fit well. I like the pockets and the neck flap that snaps shut to block out wind.

I live on the west coast and regardless of weather, walk the beach each day with the dogs. The day after receiving the parka, there was a chilly heavy rain. The parka fit perfectly, kept me dry and warm and was not restrictive. The pockets came in handy for doggie bags, treats, tissues and keys. Thank you for a great product. Oh, and the dogs are always kept warm and dry in their own Lands' End dog coats!

Color description and photos are misleading
This parka seemed to be a nice between seasons choice. The range of colors was very limited though. Black or blue, again? Well, thankfully there was a nice understated "smokey" olive. Unfortunately, it is not smokey at all. Instead it is a quite bright green, closer to what LE usually refers to "fern". And the texture of the fabric is on the shiny side, which is not visible in the pictures. Makes it look very, very casual. Apart from that, it is comfortable, light and well-proportioned. I really don't know if I 'm going to keep it. It could have been a great parka...

wish it came in "talls"
I have been looking for a medium weight spring/fall coat. this coat was perfect BUT.....I am 5ft 10in, 145lbs and the XL was too tight across the shoulders and the sleeves too short. Wish it would come in a "tall" or even plus size!

Women's Fleece Lined Outrigger Parka
This coat is fairly thin so I don't see it combining warmth with wind and rain protection (emphasis on warmth) unless you have a decent layer underneath (sweatshirt or fleece liner). This coat, I think, is going to work well for fall and spring for a chillier day where you can get by with a light jacket. No idea how well it is going to keep me dry if it rains which that was part of the reason for buying the coat. I guess we'll see. I like the length of it and the color (I got the olive). I got a large so I could wear a sweatshirt underneath it so I could wear a little longer into fall. It would be nicer if the hood had a bit more structure around it. I would recommend this to someone looking for a longer, thin jacket.
