Women's Fit 3 Straight Leg Jeans
Jeans arrived today and are a perfect fit. Thanks goodness there are still jeans sold that fit at the waist. Have tried numerous other brands and these are the best. Wish they came in other colors.

What happened to the small sizes!!!
I was so excited to see that the Fit 3 jeans were now available, after waiting close to a year and a half. After reading the reviews my disappointment grew but thought I would give them a try any way only to find you have done away with my size. What are we petite ladies suppose to do? Bring back the original classic straight leg jeans in all of the original sizes. PLEASE! Holes in my Jeans

Just not the same!
I agree with most of the reviewers that these jeans are a poor shadow of the wonderful jeans you used to carry. I, too, waited a very long time for them to reappear in your product line and eagerly ordered two pairs--even knowing that the 32" inseam might be a little short. I'm used to jeans that hit the tops of my feet, and these look like high-water pants on me. The fabric is also not the heavy twill I'm accustomed to in your old jeans. Even the front pockets are not as deep (and I'm wearing the last treasured pair of the old-style jeans you used to carry, so I can easily tell the difference). The only good thing is the Fit 3; anything lower than that, and the waistband will have a big gap in back. PLEASE bring back the good jeans, with tall sizes and custom hem lengths!

Bring back Fit 3 Long Jeans
Please, bring back the fit 3 jeans in long lengths! A 32 inch inseam is a floodwater pant on me. I don't want jeans with elastic or with stretchy material! I have ordered 6 of the old jeans and the ones I'm wearing now are starting to fray a bit at the bottom, not from a quality issue, just from natural wear. BRING BACK THE OLD ONES!!!!!!!!!!!

Please bring back previous Fit 3 jeans
I've been buying these exact jeans for years. Then about 8 months ago, they went out of the catalog. I called Lands End to ask where they were and to order some, and they said that they were not on the spring and summer catalogs but that they should be back, given that there are usually so many orders for them. So I waited. When I saw them back...I was super excited and rushed to order a pair. And then the disappointment. While its the same fit - what's changed is the fabric. The fabric is not jeans. It's like faux jeans. If I wanted some mash-up fabric, I'd shop somewhere else. Land's End, for me, is a brand that's about being real and authentic. I've seen many comments here asking for the "authentic" Fit 3 jeans to come back....not only for the fabric, but for the price. So I'm joining that request.

A little too long in the waist, love the fabric and deep pockets
A little too long in the waist, love the fabric and the good deep pockets.

perfect fit for me
Thank you for making jeans that are more fitted through the hips and still fit my waist. Too many jeans are too large through the hips and make me look like I am wearing a bag, but these fit perfectly!

There really are tall people out there; and you've lost much of that market
Once upon a time Lands End was the only supplier of well made jeans for tall women. I'm 5'11" and need jeans with a 36" inseam. I'm a landscape designer so run through multiple pairs per year.
If you offered them in different lengths for tall women and marketed them directly to everyone who has commented about length I bet you'd sell dozens - to each person .
Same goes for other pants - cords, chinos - at least make them available unhemmed.

I Love these jeans!
I don't understand the 3 star average for these jeans - sometimes I think that the people who really like and buy an item don't write stellar reviews because they don't want them to sell out - well I'm one who doesn't want them to sell out because I think they're great and deserve 5 sailboats at least - and I'm ordering another 2 pair right now, because even if new styles show up as I've been told they will, THESE fit me perfectly and I love the weight of the denim (I get hot, even here in the northern midwest, I'm not one of the cold blooded types, medium weight is fine with me, so long as it's ALL cotton which these are), the fit is extraordinarily right on the money, the length is just right for me (I'm 5'4" with longer than average legs for my height), the rise is where I like the rise to be, over my belly button just enough to say without hesitation these are at my waist, but not at bra height either). They fit the mature (not overweight, just older) female body as they should - where it's not about size as much as it's about proportion - gravity has done its natural thing and these jeans don't try to change the undeniable, they accommodate it. ........So I'm ordering 2 more pair, I don't want to be left out with new and improved versions when these jeans are just perfect for me. One thing: I order, usually, a 12 in Lands End everything, but a 12 for me in these jeans was too tight. I ordered a 14 and I washed them and dried them on medium to make sure whatever shrinkage was going to happen, did indeed happen, and they shrunk just enough to make them a wonderful comfortable fit.
Lands End, you've been surprising me in the best way these last few months, and here's yet another home run from you. Well done, keep the hits coming. You've won back my business, all of it, just like you had it back in the 'good old days'. It feels good to be back.

Perhaps a baby step in the right direction
It sounds as if Lands End has listened to at least part of the complaints. The description now says that these are made of real denim, not "denim colored" fabric. However, this does not go far enough. They are only offered in regular sizing; no petites available. And there is no choice of leg length. If these are again being made of real denim we do not want to have to hem them ourselves!
