Women's Fit 3 High Rise Straight Leg All-cotton Jeans - Medium Wash
I have searched for ONE YEAR for a pair of jeans that would fit properly and look good on me after my last pair of good fitting jeans gave out. Name a company -- I have bought their jeans. I have bought jeans" for well over $100. They all looked and fit awful.
I am 5'4" and 115 pounds, 62 years old. I have a classic "hourglass" figure with small waist, and "D" size bust and relatively wide hips. It shouldn't be THAT hard to find something that fits me that I look good in, right? WRONG!! All jeans now are cut "low rise" (which might be OK if they weren't mostly spandex, which causes them to bunch up and pull downwards when they aren't anchored around your waist). They all fit your legs like leggings (including some expensive jeans that make a big point of claiming that they don't). I don't want industrial strength farmer jeans. I want nice, relatively thin, jeans that don't cling to me like saran wrap, but don't hang like a bag and which actually come up to my waist and (this is the big one) FIT my waist -- as opposed to have a two inch gap.
These do. I am in heaven!! I just ordered 5 more! (Size 4, length 30). As far as the pockets the only thing I'm going to put in my pants pocket is a credit card or a hotel room key or the like and these will slip into the back pocket just fine. Having a big bulky front pocket (or putting a big bulky object in the front pocket) would totally spoil the flat fit and appearance. That's what your purse is for.

First - the front pockets are too shallow. Perhaps most women don't use the front pockets, but I do, and they don't accommodate anything.
Second - Because you've made the front pockets wider and shallower, the belt loop on my left side is too close to the zipper to accommodate a belt buckle.
I'm a long time buyer of your old traditional jeans and miss them. Mostly because of the above two issues. Please fix them!

Great fit. Great jeans.
These are the best jeans ever. They are a little pricey for being made in China, but they fit great, look great. The stretch jeans do not fit the same way. They are baggy on me, but these fit great.

Not like the old ones :((
After waiting 2-3 years for these to come back, I could not be more disappointed. They are not even close to the old ones in cut or quality. And the front "pockets" should more accurately be called decorative slots because they're useless. Sent them back and won't be trying again.

Ok fit. Small pockets.
I had purchased a pair of these jeans several years ago and they fit perfectly. I recently ordered two new pairs. They fit ok, but the pockets were MUCH shallower than the original jeans. No likey!

Good pair of jeans
I've been wearing Lands'End jeans for work everyday for years. Was extremely happy when Lands'End brought back regular cotton jeans after discontinuing for so long. Had tried fit 2 and was not happy with the feel of material or the shape. Tried fit 3 all cotton and was much better. I used to order pettite 12 and they always fit, however the jeans' size must be different because the pettite 12 was overall too big. Exchanged for a 10 pettite and fit was much better. Shrunk a little after washing, but fit is still good. Pockets on these jeans are smaller then the old jeans, not fond of that. Still a good pair of casual jeans, plus can get them hemmed to my size.

I love these jeans. They fit me perfectly. Fit 3 seems to be the only fit that works. Fits 1 and 2 never seem to work. If I match the waist size, the hips don't fit. If I match the hip size, the waist doesn't fit. It's frustrating since my measurements are not far off the ones listed under the size chart. But with these jeans in this fit, all is good!

Jeans - Will be looking for a new company for Jeans
I have been buying LandsEnd Jeans for years and will discontinue until they bring back the old style jeans. These "new" jeans don't fix throught the hips or, butt like the old style did. The pockets are worthless. I will not buy another pair of landsend jeans unless they bring back the old style.

Love that Fit 3 in all cotton is back
I was thrilled to see that LE brought back the Fit 3 in all cotton. LE please offer all cotton in the black and darker blue jean -- Fit 3. I know many would buy them. Can't stand stretch clingy jeans. This style runs a little small from the previous version. I like the styling of these jeans.

I've purchased many Land's End jeans...
...but I have to say these are the worst.
I have four pairs of Land's End jeans that were made in Bangladesh... and I LOVE them. I dearly wish Land's End would go back to that type of Fit 3, straight leg jeans. Heavy-weight, durable, comfortable, with REAL POCKETS - those were the BEST!
I have one pair that was made in Mexico - who the heck puts grosgrain ribbon in the waistband of a pair of jeans? The Mexican manufacturer of my one pair of Mexican Land's End jeans, that's who. Scratchy, uncomfortable, but still wearable and durable - with REAL POCKETS!
My most recent pair, from China, are so incredibly light-weight that I sincerely doubt that they'd last more than a couple days in my shop. The fit is BIG... I may have to wash these in hot water to get them to shrink sufficiently to be comfortable. The pockets, as others have noted, are NON-EXISTENT! I can get four coins and a lighter in one, but sometimes the coins fall out on their own. For cryin' out loud, Land's End, go back to Bangladesh!!!!!!! Seriously, my four pairs of jeans from that era are still going strong and I want new ones. :(
