Women's Fit 3 High Rise Straight Leg All-cotton Jeans - Medium Wash
I have searched for ONE YEAR for a pair of jeans that would fit properly and look good on me after my last pair of good fitting jeans gave out. Name a company -- I have bought their jeans. I have bought jeans" for well over $100. They all looked and fit awful.
I am 5'4" and 115 pounds, 62 years old. I have a classic "hourglass" figure with small waist, and "D" size bust and relatively wide hips. It shouldn't be THAT hard to find something that fits me that I look good in, right? WRONG!! All jeans now are cut "low rise" (which might be OK if they weren't mostly spandex, which causes them to bunch up and pull downwards when they aren't anchored around your waist). They all fit your legs like leggings (including some expensive jeans that make a big point of claiming that they don't). I don't want industrial strength farmer jeans. I want nice, relatively thin, jeans that don't cling to me like saran wrap, but don't hang like a bag and which actually come up to my waist and (this is the big one) FIT my waist -- as opposed to have a two inch gap.
These do. I am in heaven!! I just ordered 5 more! (Size 4, length 30). As far as the pockets the only thing I'm going to put in my pants pocket is a credit card or a hotel room key or the like and these will slip into the back pocket just fine. Having a big bulky front pocket (or putting a big bulky object in the front pocket) would totally spoil the flat fit and appearance. That's what your purse is for.

Fit perfectly in waist but much too large in hips and thigh. Loved the straight leg opening.
Cannot wear these pants; I like the quality and the straight leg since the skinny jeans are not for me. I need a straight cut in hip/thigh area with a straight leg that is not a skinny leg.

Nicely structured and soft material. They run a bit small in my opinion. Pockets are shallow but not a problem for me. I am keeping them and ordered the next size up.

Fits well but the waist is tight
I like the quality of these jeans. The length is perfect and the fit is perfect except the waist was tighter than most size ten Lands End pants. I am still able to wear them as it stretches out a little, but when I first put them on I thought that they would not work. I have a 31 waist and I think it is more like a 29" waist if that helps you.

Nice soft cotton jeans that have a regular fit.
These jeans are very nice. I love how they fit at my waist. They were just a tad long for my 5'3" height. I think the inseam is 32 and usually I wear a 30" inseam. They wash and dry well. These jeans are a nice weight, not too heavy nor too flimsy.

A bit tight in the waist
Often I find that jeans are snug for me in the hip and thigh. These pants fit just great there, but cinch my waist a bit too much. Mostly uncomfortable when I sit. Too bad.

Hate leg width
First time getting jeans at Lands End. First time getting jeans without a partial elastic waist. Pros: like fit #3, like medium wash color, like fabric. Con: legs are too wide! To me they are not a true straight tapered leg. I feel like I am wearing wide legged jeans instead.

The buttonhole edges were raw, unfinished. Surprising! That's not like Lands End. Buttonhole also slightly too small, hard to get the button through so took it to a tailor.

The longer I wear these jeans, the more frustrated I become with how shallow the front pockets are. Otherwise, I like them, although they really gap at the waist.

Cheap and wrong
These are not the same high waisted Fit 3, heavy denim, 5 pockets we love. This is thin cheap denim with faux pockets that are less than 2 inches deep. You could maybe keep a couple of pennies in them. The label SAYS relaxed fit but a new "tummy" control tag means it hugs your backside with a vengence and the fly is TOO SHORT!!! If you are fans of the original fit 3 5 pocket, you are going to hate these.
