Rated 3 out of 5 by Cmajhontz Jeans were okay, but waistband had huge gap in back.
Most reviews were accurate about the small pockets, other than that I thought jeans were okay EXCEPT for the waistband. I had a huge gap at the back part of the waistband so I had to send them back. I wish we had more high-rise pants available, I hate the mid-rise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by VGNS Jeans fit fine but I needed to shorten the legs
The quality is great and I use them for everyday wear. I have a long torso so ordered the tall to get a comfortable fit. The choices for the inseam length were limited so I needed to shorten the legs. A

Rated 2 out of 5 by BuckeyeNancy Very frustrated!
The color (wash) was great and they were a nice weight denim but had to send them back. I LOVE Land's End jeans and I have 2 pair in other colors the same size and style that fit perfectly, but I couldn't even get this pair over my hips. Very strange. I'm now afraid to order the next size up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by discouragedshopper SMALL FIT - DON'T BELIEVE THE REVIEWS - FOR TALL SKINNY BODIES
So, I am 5'6" and 180 lb 60 something woman; I do have a back side along with thighs. I read ALL of the reviews before buying these jeans as I have looked all over town trying to find jeans that fit a womanly figure. Seems that if you aren't tall and stick thin, you can't find clothes that fit! I so wish the designers of Lands End and all stores would take into consideration that most mature women do not have the figure of a teenager or 20/30 something person. Since I did read the reviews, I ordered according to my usual size and a size smaller (which would be a 14 and a 12). I was so DISAPPOINTED when I received these jeans. I ordered both mid rise and high rise straight leg jeans (I want to look modern, but can't wear skinny jeans); NONE of them fit!!!! The 12 I couldn't even get buttoned and the 14 I got on, but they were so tight in the butt (what I like to call butt hugger jeans); I don't like baggy jeans, but I also don't like them so tight they show every little crack and bulge. What is a WOMAN to do???? Come on Lands End! Take us ladies with a womanly figure into consideration; we like to look modern, but don't have the body of a kid any more.

Rated 3 out of 5 by NannyCarol Loved fabric not the fit
I realize these are high rise jeans but I feel they are excessively "high" ! The fabric is 100% cotton which I really like. I kept these but won't wear like I thought I would. Normally high rise are my favorites. I reordered a pair of mid-rise and I like them but not 100% cotton and waistband gaps so I have to wear a belt with them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by JoanieGolfer Love the look and fit, BUT..!
My only complaint and it is a BIG one....what is with the half front pockets? If I wanted no pockets, I would have ordered those. But I do want front pockets and these are useless. Please put full pockets in these jeans or I will not be buying them anymore. I would recommend them If pockets are not important.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SusieZ Doesn't fit like other Lands End pants in the same size.
I always wear size 6 in LE pants, including a black pair of high-rise jeans I just bought at a LE store. So I was disappointed with these, when I found them to be way, way too small in the waist. (Some of us older women much prefer high-rise, because we don't want additional bulk around the abdomen.) Part of the problem with these jeans (unlike the black pair) is that being 100% cotton (no elastic/spandex in the fabric) they have no "give" at all. I returned them, but didn't opt for a larger size because I know they would be too big in the legs and/or hips. I wish LE would have the same style and color options for high-rise pants as they do for mid-rise. And I wish they'd offer these jeans in the same fabric as the black pair.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MargieC Disappointed: Denim doesn't hold shape.
I was happy to buy, on sale, 3 pairs in various colors. I love the high rise, at my waist. Now after one wash, the blue denim pair doesn't hold up shape too well after a couple of hours of wear. Also, front pockets are way too shallow. Used to deep front pockets in this style. Was hoping for better quality that Lands End had in this particular jean from a couple of years ago. Thinking of returning all three pairs but haven't worn other pairs after first wash yet. I just saw that the denim was described as "soft" so maybe my expectation is unrealistic. I do like Lands End though. I am 5' 61/2" and weigh 130 and the sizing was perfect in Size 8 /32" length. I love their cashmere, long down coat and their long underwear.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Iridium Not Quite There Yet
I have told Land's End several times what I want in jeans: plus size, relaxed fit, waistband that sits at the waist, 100% cotton denim. In other words, the jeans I bought from them regularly for at least a decade, up until about four years ago. These do fit those criteria, except that Lands End uses that nasty "stretch denim" in all their other jeans, so I can't get black jeans, just indigo. But they introduced a new problem into these jeans: pockets. I USE the pockets in my jeans. They took a non-problem with the formerly deep front pockets and turned it into a significant problem. These new pockets are so shallow that they're merely ornamental. I have to carry the wristlet that I use with pocketless skirts and dresses, because I can't trust things to not fall out of these pitifully shallow pockets. Also, I don't want tummy control from my jeans. If I felt the need I'd wear Spanx underneath the jeans. And oh, yes, the price has doubled. I'm so disappointed.

Love the quality of these jeans! They fit perfectly and feel comfortable. I wish the from pockets were a little deeper, though.
