Women's Fit 3 7-day Elastic Waist Twill Pants
these Fit 3 with Wonderful pants for me!
As a senior I don't like pants with Fit 1 or Fit 2. I want them to fit my waist. But I also do not like tight-fitting garments--so these Fit 3 with full-elastic waist are just what I need. Even more important I need a 26 in. inseam. A decade or so ago I could buy ready-hemmed pants with a 26 in. inseam. But then somebody decided that everyone should look sloppy and now I either have to shorten them by 5-7 inches or let them drag on the street or trip over them. My legs didn't grow any longer in the ten-year interval. This is the only pant that fits. I only wish there were more color choices.

don't you know plus-size women have buns?
I bought these pants because I have an older pair (so old they even have a front zipper!) that fits pretty well even though the elastic is giving out.
The size I had previously bought was at least 3" smaller around the hips than the old pair, so they went back for a larger size. The larger ones fit, I thought, until I wore them. Every time I sat down, when I stood up again (this was in church) it felt like I was about to lose my pants. The back crotch seam is at least 4" too short for a woman with an ample figure. At the same time, the front crotch seam was a couple inches too long. This fit is completely unlike any Lands End pants I have ever purchased before, and I don't know why you changed it.
Needless to say, both pairs went back and I am extremely disappointed and afraid to buy any other styles for fear they will have the same problem.

Like them...sort of
I ordered these pants because I need to look good, but also to be able to move around in my job. They fit the bill and I will keep them, but there are some problems with them. The fit is a little weird in that the front is a little too bulky, so I get a "pooch" in front, but the back is a little tight through the seat. And, as another reviewer mentioned, they pull down in back when I'm sitting down. The size is right, and the length is okay and they do look okay so I can't say that they're terrible, but they don't fit anywhere nearly as well as I would expect Lands End products to fit.

These are great pants!
I have ordered these in different colors and wear them to work every day (with longer tops to hide the elastic waist, of course). I not only WOULD recommend them, I HAVE recommended them to a friend. Each time my weight changes (I've lost enough to be down from 16 to 12), I order a new set.

Only slacks I wear
I have purchased these slacks for over 20-years. They are very comfortable and the fit is perfect. I have most of the colors and really enjoy the light colors. Thank you Land's End. You have the tall clothes that I wear.

The pants fit great and I love the waistband.
I have ,looked everywhere for an elastic waistband on pants. Most pants are made of either nylon material or are stretch cotton. I am middle-aged and need pants for the professional workplace. These fit my needs!

These elastic waist pants fit very well, and the fabric has a nice drape. I may need some more in other colors.

Great pants, odd cut
Loved the pants, true to size-cut was lower in back so every time I sat or bent down, the pants would pull down in back-returned them

Unfortunately, will have to return these
I am really tall at 5'11' with a 34" inseam. This is one of the few places I can get women's sized pants in the right length. Unfortunately, the waist in these was about three inches too high, so I would have had to fold them over. The real problem is that they are much too tight in the thighs and calves. They are going back.

Why doesn't Land's End want to sell me more of these?
These pants are great. They wash great, wear like iron, can be dressed up/down, are good year-round, fit perfectly for those of us with much larger hips than waists, and best of all, aren't locked into the standard 30 inch inseam that is just too short for many of us, even when we're not all that tall. So why only 4 out of 5?
Simple. Land's End seems determined to now only offer these in the same 4 colors, year in and year out for the last 3 years. I have a pair in Light Stone that I'd like to replace - not available. I have a pair in white that I'd like to have a backup for, since white pants will inevitably get stained - not available. I have a pair in steel gray that are showing their age - not available. So right there you've lost a sale of 3 pairs. That doesn't include the fact that I'd buy these in dark purple if they were offered, teal if they were offered, forest green if they were offered, light pink in the spring if they were offered -- is anyone adding up the sales potential here? Why are Fit 2 pants available in "fashion" colors but not these? I'm not the only commenter with this complaint - is anyone listening? We wouldn't want more colors if we didn't plan to buy them!!
