Rated 3 out of 5 by DadO Very comfortable jeans but run a bit large.
The jeans are soft and comfortable. I just wish I had ordered a smaller size. I didn't realize they stretched so much. They become baggy after I've worn them a hour of so.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kc23 New Favorite Jeans-they weren't kidding!
These jeans are my new favorite jeans. I bought one pair and had to order a second because I loved them so much. They offer great coverage and are a flattering fit. I dress them up with sweaters and flats for work and dress them down with sneakers and sweatshirts for the rink on weekends. I've washed and dried them many times and they wash well. I am short (so I ordered the 30 length) and on the chubby side and still feel great in these jeans-no more muffin tops!

Rated 1 out of 5 by CanadianBear Very disappointed
I was looking forward to receiving these jeans, and since delivery took much longer than usual I was very happy to finally receive them. Tried them on and liked them; the waist was higher than I expected (but I have a high waist, so this worked for the better) and the pockets are shallow as others have noted. The fit was good when I tried them on.
First wearing, though, they stretched out. Very very badly. The thighs stretched out, the bum stretched out, and even the crotch began to sag. Washed them again, wore them again - and the same thing happened.
I had wanted a pair of straight-legged jeans I could wear when trouser-style jeans were overkill. These would have been perfect if the fabric hadn't sagged. I'm extremely disappointed. They are pretty much unwearable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by anniegrace great jeans, stretch out with wear
When I first tried on the jeans when they arrived I was worried that I would have to size up because they seemed to be a little tight, but after wearing them for the first time they stretched out just enough to be a little loose, but after I washed them they shrank a little and now they are just perfect. They are good quality, and I love that the dye from the jeans does not bleed onto my hands and clothing like some other brands. overall I would highly recommend

Rated 3 out of 5 by Dahiker Truly straight leg
A few notes about my shape to keep in mind: I'm a petite apple shape with slimmer hips, seat and thighs and a round belly.
These have a flattering straight leg. And it is truly straight. Not slightly bootcut, not flared, not narrowed.
At only a few inches deep the front pockets are nearly useless. But the back pockets are large and skew so close to the hip (the edge is an inch from my side) that they're easy enough to use instead.
The fabric is light and super stretchy. Size down if you're between sizes.
"Mid-rise" means fully covering my belly button. And I did buy the petite. There's plenty of room for my apple tummy. Too much room in fact. The full fabric continues a few inches below the fullness of my belly.
The seat is flat but long and there's more room in the thigh than I need. The waist is true-to-size.

Rated 1 out of 5 by mom2shop slim leg not straight leg
I bought these jeans last year, and loved them. I wanted another pair. I bought one pair at the store and they were cut way too slim through the thigh. I bought another pair online thinking they would be like the ones from last year. They too were cut way too slim through the thigh. It is really too bad you changed the fit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by CarriageDriver I really wanted to like these jeans
I intended these jeans to be worn while carriage driving and doing barn chores. The mid-rise waist was low enough that when driving the carriage, my shirt kept coming untucked. While I understand the idea of the shallow pockets for aesthetics, they are not deep enough to carry a pocket knife without risk of losing it. On the plus side, I really liked the fabric - good sturdy denim with just a little bit of stretch. The high quality of these jeans is what I'd expect from Lands' End, however, these are going back and I'll continue to search for a practical pair of jeans. I guess I'm just not as concerned with fashion as much as function!

Rated 1 out of 5 by AnneReviewingItems Very Poor Quality Control - Do Not Order These!
I ordered two pairs of these several months ago and they were fine so I then ordered two more pairs. The new pairs were just slightly different - new shipment I thought. Then I noticed that on one pair the fabric at the opening of the back pockets was rough and torn, as if I had worn them and stuffed my hands in the back pockets over and over. On the other pair, the opening of the front pockets was torn and frayed. So ... I returned them and requested replacement pairs, thinking this was just bad luck. The two new pairs arrived yesterday. One pair is fine but on the other pair the hems of the legs are torn and frayed.
Net result - of four pairs I have returned three pairs due to the shoddy product. This time I have asked for a refund as I don't need the hassle of ordering and returning defective items. I have to say I am very disappointed in Land's End as the defects were very obvious - these were hemmed to length for me so the sewer caused the tears but shipped the ruined jeans to me any way. That is not supplier error like the pocket issues. DO NOT ORDER THESE UNTIL PRODUCTION/QUALITY ISSUES ARE FIXED!

Rated 3 out of 5 by VW53 Jeans run short
The overall fit initially seemed fine but the jeans stretch out quickly. They are also too short in a Petite which is what I usually buy in jeans or I buy the short length. Disappointed. Most of the time Lands End clothing is of very good quality.
