Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonym Didn't like ankle opening
I like how they fit - but was expecting something with a different leg opening. In reference to the picture online, I would have expected the leg to be tapered, but they weren't at all. I felt like they were somewhere between a straight leg and a boot cut. I returned the item. It makes me think that they tapered the pant legs in the image.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NWReader Perfect fit/nice fabric
I always worry about size when ordering online but this time everything was just right: overall fit and of course custom length plus nice quality fabric and details. I'm petite and often have to shorten pants even when they're petite; not having to do that was a plus.

Be prepared to iron these for them to look their best. I have another color and when I washed them needed to iron them. That said, I am a dry cleaners daughter and want things well pressed. If you have a laissez fare attitude about clothes you can perhaps get by without iron. I just take mine to the cleaners, not my folks as they long since have passed from this earth.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Teacher1956 Very versatile, love the slim leg look.
I'm a teacher and am always looking for slacks that can be professional looking and yet casual enough for working with small children. I think these slacks might be the solution to my problem. They are comfortable and let me bend to work with my students as they sit on a rug. I can also wear them with a jacket or a somewhat dressy top, and know that I look "put together." The only drawback, and why I did not give them an "excellent" rating, is that I feel they need to be pressed after they come out of the dryer to look their best for work. If you don't mind a little ironing, these pants are just about perfect!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sportsfanworkingmom Nice, soft material but more of a casual chino
I like the feel of this material but these are definitely a casual chino pant rather than a dressy one. They come out of the dryer a little bit wrinkly--not so much that I would iron them but this does make them more casual. I am fine with this since my office is casual but it could be an issue for some people. I am kind of in between sizes right now--the 14's are a bit more snug than I would like and the 16's are definitely on the loose side. I got the khaki pair in both sizes in hopes that I will be losing a bit of weight soon but the navy and green were only available in size 14 so hopefully those will fit fine in the not-so-distant future.

I am very petite, but typically have to buy regular-sized clothing to fit my curves. These chinos are not only comfortable, but fit really well. Having them hemmed to the right length helps me avoid cuffing my nicer pants and looking unprofessional. I am planning on buying them in another color, because they are perfect for casual and business settings.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ihateskinnyjeans Very comfortable, seem to wash well
I got these in green, blue, and khaki-- I have to wear chinos for work, and these were a great value at the sale price. The green and blue both fit well, I'd actually give them 5 stars. However, khaki color had a slightly loger inseam than I requested, and the inseam sort of twists on one leg. I also feel like the khaki fit a bit differently and the material feels like it has more stretchy stuff in it, so it's not as soft/cottony. The rise is not very low on me-- I'm 5'8" and they are just below my belly button. They do stretch out and bag a bit during my day-- I work with children, spend a lot of time on the floor-- but I don't own a pair of pants from ANY company that doesn't. I would once again like to thank Land's End for converting a lifelong hater of slim leg pants-- I think I must have the exact middle aged body they are cutting their pants for.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Lynn338 NOT slim leg pants
I ordered these in size 12 navy- they are very baggy through the hips and thighs- not even close to slim leg cut. They are comfortable enough so I've kept them for kicking around the house in, but wouldn't wear them with a long tunic- would be a very frumpy and unflattering combination.

I found Fit 1 is perfect for my proportions. I was pleased with the first two pairs, ordered two more, and now have one of each color. Nice summer weight fabric with subtle stretch. Wash and dry on permanent press cycle, fold and hang immediately out of dryer, little or no ironing required. Not too skinny, very flattering, and on-trend yet classic.

Rated 1 out of 5 by AdieCustomer NOT the SLIM LEG look picured!
These are NOT the fit described. They are a wide trouser-fit. Not slim leg. I ordered many pair and each one is the same fit. Although the material is very good quality, they are not as described and I'm planning to take them in at the seam to make them slim leg myself.
