Super cute and great fit
These jeans fit like all other LE plus sized pants and crops of the same style with slant pockets in front. They look terrific on. Wear well and wash beautifully. I wash and only partly dry in drier and hang to dry rest of the way. The color is darker denim but not too dark. LE please offer some other color choices. I think they are a closer fitting pant, but not too much so, they are a Fit 2 in plus sizes. I like them, think they make my butt look good and would order more if they were in stock. I wear a 16W.

Runs very small
Look like they would be nice, but they run at least a full size smaller than other pants that I own from Lands end, and returning them for a larger size which may/ may not fit, is too much hassle. I think the back pockets are quite unflattering.

Perfect fit and weight
I normally wear a 4 but bought a 2 regular and they fit perfectly (5'4" & 117#). Just the right amount of stretch and one of the few pair of jean where I don't need a belt as they didn't start sliding down. They are higher waisted than I normally wear - just below the belly button - however I quite like them. Also no gaping at the back and slim enough to tuck into boots. I'd probably like it slight more trim at the ankle but it's good enough. If Lands End adds them in full length I'll be buying more.

Love the legs on these jeans
On a hunch I ordered one size down and they fit perfectly. I really don't like the stretchy material but I can live with it in exchange for the shape of the legs on these jeans. The legs are neither too narrow ( makes you look top heavy) nor too wide ( I grew up in the 80's I can't stand bell bottoms). The legs are perfectly straight! They look very stylish! The waist isn't too low either. I love the fact that LE made the plus size slightly below the waist and not completely below the waist. Thank you LE! You made the perfect jeans! I'm buying a second pair. Now, all you need to do is offer more colors, different materials etc.
another tip for you guys at LE: there are many Plus size women who don't want to wear colorful bottoms. Think about it. Why would I want to wear red 22w pants??? Please offer normal colors I can wear to work.

Very cute and versatile
I am 32 years old and have been having a hard time finding cute clothing which is both well made and affordable on my teacher's salary. I recently ordered two different pairs of ankle jeans from Lands' End, and while the "fit two" of the first pair was far too "old" for my taste, I think these "fit one" jeans are very cute. Unlike the "fit two" pair, this "fit one" pair has no huge gap in the waistband along my back, and the overall design is slim and snug (but not too snug)-- which is what you want in a pair of pants like this. I wear a size six, and am glad these pants have some stretch in them, otherwise they might feel just a tad too tight at the end of a long day. If you like a looser fit, you might want to size up. I have already washed the pants (cold water, air dried) and there was no shrinkage, so my normal size is perfect for how I want the pants to fit. The dark wash of the pants does not look cheap (as dark washes sometimes do) and makes them versatile-- you can dress them both up and down. I have been wearing them rolled-up once for casual work days. The only reason I didn't give the pants a five-star rating is on account of the back pockets-- they are just a little too big to be entirely flattering; slightly smaller pockets on the butt and these pants would rival similar pairs which sell for $80, or more.
I am 5'9'', but most of my height is in my torso, and these pants didn't go past my ankle as they did for the other reviewer. Nor did the waistband go above my belly button; the fit is perfect for me, as I am tired of having to worry about showing too much very time I sit down in "hip hugging" jeans! Also, I can see why the previous reviewer said the jeans were "heavy weight", but I would actually describe them as "well made" and can see myself wearing them all throughout the Arizona spring without being over-warm.

Ordered this pant in a size 8 - the waist was too big, re-ordered in a size 6 - the legs darn near cut off my circulation! After years of being able to order from Lands End and never having fit as an issue the last few years have shown that this is no longer the case (I have remained the same height and weight). I now swim in items that would have fit in the past - please stop with the vanity sizing!

Not what i had hoped
These jeans look really nice but they are a heavy weight denim and the waist is too high. I bought the women's plus. As far as the length, these go well past my ankle. I won't be keeping them because i cant stand the feeling of my jeans above my belly button.
