Women's Silk Interlock Pants
The perfect silk pants
Absolutely top notch. Soft, comforting against the skin, well tailored, yet relaxed. The waist band is firm, yet also relaxed, and not prone to twisting as some brands are. The ankle cuffs also stay consistent. They do not go baggy, as other brands do, and are, from the start, reassuringly well shaped. I would be the first to complain if they didn?t, as I wear them both during the day, under jeans, and at night as pyjamas. My family can attest to my fussiness! I shall be ordering my next set very soon. Tks. Lands? end. Keep up the quality.

Great fit, washes well, very happy with the product.
The pants are silky soft and are true to size in width and lengh. They wash well. I pop them in the dryer for a few minutes to help get the wrinkles out then hang them to dry.

Comfortable and warm
I bought 2 pair in petite and the fit and length are perfect. I wore them on sub-freezing days under my jeans and stayed warm. The waist elastic is wide but very comfortable and does not bind. However, the elastic in the band did roll when they were washed, so I sewed a vertical seam front, back and sides on the band to keep it from rolling.

The waist band on this article is awful.
It is a wide piece of elastic and does not gather at my waist at all. Not at all comfortable. I have never bought anything that I had to alter so It would fit. I know I could have sent it back, but the pants I was replacing were thread bare. Please let me know when you have changed suppliers for this article.
P.S. I NEVER thought I would ever give Landsend a bad review on anything. Sorry.

Thick, heavy waistband on thin, wonderful long underwear
After reading other reviews, I thought these would work for me. Lower waist? Sounds perfect! Wide waistband? Great, it won't pinch! But the waistband is made of a very thick, heavy, binding elastic that is extremely bulky and uncomfortable under pants. Even though the waist was on the loose side for me, it felt awful. I'm surprised that Lands End used this elastic, when there are many soft, more flexible knit wide elastics available that would have been more appropriate with this kind of lightweight material. The Petite XS otherwise fit perfectly and I wanted to keep them, but that waistband? I just couldn't wear it. They went back. (It also took two weeks for them to arrive in the mail, which seemed excessively long!)

perfect from all perspectives
My daughter loved these for her b.day but then, they were on her list. She had worn her earlier pair out. These fit perfectly in whatever size you get, since others in the family also have them. They are super comfortable, you barely know you are wearing them, and they are an excellent way to stay warm without bulk

Light and warm
Love that the silk are very light and slip under even thinner pants. Kept me warm on my travels during the cold on the East Coast.

waist band is big
my only problem with these is the waist band is too big.
Not a big problem since I am able to sew.
Removed the waistband and put a smaller elastic in them.
For the price and the work needed not a good buy.

Elastic rolls and fabric shrinks
These silk underwear are warm and lightweight to walk my dog, in Maine winters. However after a few washings (gentle cycle and then air dried, they have shrunk down a size. The elastic waistband rolls and bunches and get worse each time I pull them up. I hope Lands End will correct these issues.

Waist was HUGE
I bought four pairs of these a few years ago, and wore them to shreds. They were wonderful.
I ordered three new pairs just before Christmas, and have just returned them to Sears. As others have noted in their reviews, the new waistband design is a disaster. It was huge! The waist measurement must have been only a couple inches less than the hip measurement. This is a completely separate issue from those who are unhappy about the height of the waistband itself. I probably could have lived with that, but even on me, the waist was too big.
The rest of the sizing was fine. I'm very disappointed. Maybe Lands' End thinks women will wear these scrunched down on their hips or something? I don't get it.
