Women's Elbow Sleeve Cotton Modal Fit and Flare Dress
Great fit, love this dress
I was only compelled to write this review when I saw what a low rating the dress had. I love the fit, the feel of the fabric, and the look! Even called a friend to tell her to check out the dress online when I still had it on. :)
I'm 5'9", 135, somewhat small busted. I ordered both S and XS, and S was best for me. It looks really great. Don't give up on this dress because of the reviews! Esp. at the sale price with discounts... what an excellent deal.
Granted I haven't even washed it yet so we'll see how things go. So far, so good!

I'm a faithfut landsend dress lover. I loved when the introduced the wrap dress, then they henced it and now they are doing this. the material in the front is way too bulky and so much extra like it is designed for a very large busted woman. I'm a AA and the stuff just hung there in a very unflattering way and pulling it open to reveal my bra. wore once and had to button up my sweater (LE love the sweater). I wish they would just go back to make the wrap dress, the real thing, they did it so well in the cotton 59% and with other stuff. don't buy

Quality Not What It Used To Be
This dress is much to low in the front and definitely does not fit the same way on me as it does on the model. I bought an XS and S and both were not flattering. Bust wise, because it was too low in the front I would have to either wear a camisole or pin it to cover up. Not everyone wants low cut dresses. The wide section in the waist did nothing for my shape and actually accentuated my hips more. Either make it a complete A-line dress or a thinner waistband or even a light elastic in the waist band to make it a gathered type bottom. Where are the dresses that are a tad bit below the knees. Everything has to be above the knee? I guess Lands End doesn't seem to care if the older women who've worn their clothes for years have decent selections any more.

Comfortable and flattering
I was surprised to read the negative reviews because I own the sleeveless version of this dress and like it. Because of the complaints below, I thought perhaps the pattern had changed between the sleeveless and sleeved version but the sleeved version is the same. I am plus-sized and I like the way this dress looks and feels. The skirt is the right length and fullness and the higher waist works for my body shape. I do need to wear a camisole underneath because the top is lower than I like.

After staring at this dress, I decided that I am going to return it as it made me feel like a circus tent--way too much fabric just below the waist. I have never bought a fit and flare dress and my track record isn't going to change unless the design is changed to have less fabric in the skirt. I also think the position of the waist plays heavily into whether the dress flatters or not. For me it was up too high leading to the unflattering appearance.

while I love the colors and the sleeve length (ellbow) I did not like the folds of fabric bunched in front across the stomach. I agree with the previous reviewer that they are a flaw in the design and make any stomach, even a flat one, look pregnant. I sent it back.

When's the baby due?
If you like to want to look like you are 6 months pregnant, buy this dress. I have a fairly flat stomach, but this made me look absolutely horrible. The gathers below the waistband could not be more unflattering.
