Women's Down Vest
A great purchase
I love this vest. I got the chocolate brown a few years ago and it still is my go to jacket. I just received the red one today and it is just as nice. The only drawback is the pocket size. The pockets in my brown jacket are very roomy but in the red one, my hand just about fits into it. Bring back the old pocket size please.

a nice addition to my vest collection
I love this vest! I am between a small and medium. I ordered this in the small tall and it fit beautifully. I can layer a thin fleece underneath it, which was my intention when I ordered it. I often wear a down vest around the house as long as it is not too bulky. It is great for running errands as well. I love the color choice and may order another one.

This vest is very nice, lightweight, but warm, and I ordered a Medium Tall which has enough room for layering without being boxy or bulky. My only disappointment is that the Evening Spruce was a lot darker than it appeared online. Had I known, I would have ordered a brighter color. Otherwise, I am very happy with it.

Great Vest for the $
Bought 2 of these vests for my nieces. Very warm and love the colours (royal and malachite).

Runs small, more decorative than functional
I'm a busty 2X and although Lands End shirts/sweaters fit me like a glove, this vest was way too small.
I could snap it, but there's NO room for anything except a turtleneck underneath. I'm not a fan of down vests that just snap shut; I prefer a zipper and these snaps are flimsy, not solid-feeling. Definitely not up to New England sturdiness standards. Can't comment on warmth, although it is very, very thin.
Overall, this vest is OK for a quick throw on if you don't want to wear a wool sweater or something bulky underneath. More decorative than functional, IMHO. But not a bad value at the sale price, which is why I'll return it for a larger size. At full price, I'd return for refund.

It's almost impossible to find a real down vest that doesn't make one look like the Michelin tire man. So I was pleased with this slim-fitting vest. It's not bulky looking at all, but keeps you warm enough for a light garment. The pockets are mere hand-warmers, they won't hold much of anything. In which case, I wished there was an inside pocket. True to size unless you want to wear as an outer layer over a light t-shirt with long-sleeve top. One size up was too roomy and negates the slim look. On sale, it's a very good price.

Beautiful in Ivory
I have purchased my coats from Lands End for the past 25 years, and have never been disappointed. This one is no exception. I have two Lands End Vests. I purchased this one in Ivory. I love it.

I love these vests! I recently bought my third one and have not been disappointed yet. I wear these at work and going out on the weekends. I cannot wait until the colder weather comes to wear these again!

I ordered a small and a XS to compare because of previous experience with Lands End clothing running big. I have a DD chest and 30 in waist and usually wear a medium, occasionally small. The XS fits perfect. So, order a size down than you usually might. It's long enough and still big enough to button up around my chest without gapping or pulling tight. Feels well-made, too.

This is incredibly useful. The vest is really warm, long enough to provide great coverage, and the tailoring is flattering. This is a great basic to wear over a sweater when the temperature drops, but not enough to warrant a coat.
