No waist seam makes it perfect if you're tall or longer-waisted - belt it where you like (or if you like). Almost a really amazing dress
I was so excited about this dress, and couldn't wait to try it on when it arrived. I was hoping it'd be the perfect flattering, packable, adaptable dress for travel.
It fit true to size (well, XXS petite for me which is a little silly; I'm 5'4" 125 lbs), the blue color was gorgeous, the fabric was of good quality, and the top was very flattering and interesting. But, the skirt was just frumpy looking. My husband said, "that dress looks like an old lady dress." It hung in an unflattering way and the length a couple inches below my knee was awkward. I think if the skirt were a bit fuller, or the fabric a little more lightweight and flowy, this could be a truly amazing dress. Too bad Lands End seems to have skimped on a few extra cents of fabric.

Looks and fits nothing like photo
This dress was much, much shorter than shown in the photos online. The fit was much looser throughout the body -- baggy and shapeless, although the bust-line fit okay. I didn't care for the feel of the fabric either -- it felt cheap. Overall, this dress was a big disappointment. It is going back.

Back on track
I've been disappointed with the weight of the fabric in the last couple of Land's End dresses I've bought... but with this dress, they are back on track. It's not so heavy that you cannot wear it all summer long... but it is also not so light that you're afraid to wear it without a slip in the sun. Because of the weight of the fabric, it drapes beautifully, without clinging any where you wouldn't want it to cling.... which makes it perfect for heading to the office on steamy days, or with a cardigan for cooler days.

Love this dress!
This dress is so comfortable, and appropriate for "smart casual" functions. the size 14W accommodates the girls without pulling. I only wish that the other colors hadn't sold out!

Great Purple- all season!
Fits well- all season with a sweater- dresses up and down- only concern was belt- since I am long-waisted with or without using loops- belt creeps up- especially any dressier belt- self belt is a bit sad looking

Easy wear and care
This versatile dress can be dressed up or down and worn year round. It drapes well and falls gracefully below my knees. I'm 5ft. 113 lbs. and PXS fits almost perfectly. I would have given a 5 stars were the armholes cut an extra inch deeper. Mine are tight and scrape against my underarms and antiperspirant/deodorant. Other than that, no complaints. The royal blue is very flattering and brightens any complexion. Would recommend.

Fit is perfect.
Dress fits like a dream, very flattering. Color blue was great. I wear it for church and a wedding coming up.

This dress is just the right length and super soft. It runs big, so I ordered a size smaller than I usually take.
I have three of these dresses. I have cardigans, jackets and blouses that I wear with each one. Every time I wear one of these dresses to church, someone comments on how cute it is. The colors are very vibrant! I have the blue and white, royal blue, and purple. I love them all. I especially love the length. I can wear knee highs instead of panty hose!

Perfect for my son's graduation.
This dress was perfect. So comfortable and good looking! I wasn't sure of the fit and went shopping while waiting for my dress to arrive. I took everything back and went with this dress. Why did I ever doubt Lands End. Another fantastic garment. NEVER WINKLED AND WENT OUT TO DINNER AFTER THE GRADUATION AND IT STILL LOOKED GREAT1
