Women's Colorblock 3-in-1 Squall Jacket
Sizing is off & zip out liner makes it difficult to put on . . .
After reading previous reviews, I ordered a size larger than my previous squall jackets and this STILL did not fit right. Though the zip-out liner is very soft, it is very difficult to my get arms down the sleeves and then they feel too tight once on WITHOUT bulky clothing/layers! I love the color-block, love the cobalt blue (which you discontinued as a ladies color) and glad to see you downsized the previous hooded squall's ridiculously over-sized/awkward/uncomfortable hood, but something is "off" on the fit. I still wear the two previous squall jackets I purchased from you years ago in Large (14-16) and they still fit perfectly . . . this Extra Large is too tight (especially in the arms) even with a lightweight sweater/sweatshirt underneath. Again, I love the cobalt color and the color-block is slenderizing, but since I don't want to wrestle with my jacket every time I put it on, I returned it. If you go back to the fleece-type material of the old squall jackets and size it like the old jackets (they were made in the USA, this one Bangladesh), this would be the PERFECT hooded squall jacket and I would buy it in a heartbeat . . . but THIS coat was not what I was hoping for! So disappointed :(

Love All The Great Features
I must admit I was a little upset when I first opened the package because this jacket came with a note that said SIZE REVISE. "Please disregard the size tag on the garment. We have discovered that some of these parkas have been labeled with the incorrect size. Rest assured that we have measured, and find that the size matches your intended size, not what is labeled.....". I was concerned because I had already taken into consideration the reviews that said the jacket ran small. I am between a small and a medium and I went with the medium and the jacket was labeled a large. I believe the reason for the sizing issue is because the arms on the fleece jacket would be too narrow if you ordered your correct size. I've had this large on with thick sweaters and sweatshirts with no problem. After hemming and hawing I decided it's a keeper. I just love all of the features of this jacket! I love that the fleece zips into the jacket and attaches with snaps at the collar and sleeves and that it has a hood that can be hidden and snapped inside the collar. I love that the fleece has zippered outside pockets and deep inside pockets. I also love that the outer jacket has zipped outer pockets as well as two velcro closed inner pockets and a zipped inner pocket. You could easily go out and enjoy winter activities without bringing a purse by stashing everything you need in the numerous pockets. Just be careful about ordering up a size because they may automatically send you the next size up like they did with me.

Not sure what went wrong
I bought the jacket for my mother-in-law who had problems with the sleeves. The inner fleece at the sleeves kept coming out of the water-resistant shell. She gave up after two tries and removed the inner fleece altogether, choosing to wear some other sweater instead.

Would be a good jacket if it fit
Returned the jacket to Sears. Temp. rating on this jacket is for when wearing normal winter clothing, but the cut is not roomy enough to wear a sweater or sweatshirt. Will not work as a winter jacket.

Had to send it back
The jacket looks and feels great but runs very small. I usually take an extra large and the 2X was too small with a sweater on under it.

Just "1" seems to be better than "3-in-1"
I really like the etreme squall jacket which I ordered last winter.
Then I was going to order another one this winter.
I got the advice to order this as an alternate instead.
The quality seems to be nice like other squall jackets.
However, wearing it, I had to adjust some parts of "3-in-1"
and I felt it so uncomfortable. It seems to be much better
to wear 1 fleece and 1 squall jacket separately.
About the size, I ordered the same size as my extreme squall.
However I should have ordered one size up.
I am looking forward to finding the extreme squall
on this site next winter.

Plus Sized and Just Right
As a petite plus size woman, many times when purchasing a coat the arms tend to be too long. This jacket is about perfect. I am truly pleased with this purchase from the size standpoint, yet I am disappointed in the hood of the jacket. From the picture, I thought the hood had more substance. It left a bit to be desired. The hood is generally two pieces of material sewed together. No insulation or anything. I know it's detachable but I thought there'd be more to it. The jacket is still a keeper.
