Women's Bracelet Sleeve Pattern Scoopneck Blouse
Poor Quality Control
After seeing LE advertise their new cowl neck sweaters, I went to my local store to check them out. While there, I saw this blouse and loved it in the tan with navy dots. I tried it on - it fit great and looked wonderful!
For whatever reason, the Waterford, CT, store doesn't carry the sweaters I originally wanted, so I decided to order them online and the shirt as well. I also had two coupons, and would save on the sweaters.
I received the order and love the sweaters. But this blouse was not at all like the one in the store!
The back was a few inches longer than the front, so it looked very odd. As another reviewer mentioned, the sleeves were much shorter than shown. I'm wondering if the one I received was defective, or if LE's quality control has become that poor. It was returned the next day.

I bought this in the floral print with the white background. It is pretty and different than most work-appropriate tops I wear. The blouse is flowy and pretty and I get compliments when I wear it.
The biggest cons for me and this blouse are:
--I guess I didn't understand what "bracelet length" meant for sleeves... the sleeves just seem oddly short. I roll them up so they are elbow length.
--It easily wrinkles.

I really like the feminine styling of this blouse and the navy dot fabric. I didn't consider it online because I didn't realize that the dots are more subtle than they look in a photograph. The fabric and the styling combine for a very elegant blouse which fits well.

I'm 5'6" with a short torso, so I always order tops in a Petite Medium size. I ordered the brown polka-dot style; the overall length, and the sleeve length, are just right on me. The feel of the fabric is delicious. I LOVE this top and have received several compliments.

Back to Buy Another One!
This is a great fall blouse! The darting and gathering in the back makes it have a nice fit in the bust while offerig a free fit through the rest if the shirt. The polyester fabric is extremely resilient and I wore it all day and it had no wrinkles. I'm a D bra size and my plentiful bust caused a small gape between the top two buttons, but I pinned it rather than wearing a cami underneath. I'm back to buy another one! I was surprised to read reviews that people found it short or tight in the arms. For me, it fell to tunic length, which I love.

Love, love love the cut and style. I ordered the Navy Dots, and I could not be happier with it. I have large upper arms, so I ordered a size up, and I am glad that I did. This shirt is smart and feminine. I am 5.4 and the blouse hits me at my upper hip.

sleeves too long in petite size
I mostly like this blouse. The georgette fabric is soft and drapey, but not so sheer you have to wear something underneath. The style is flattering.
Not enough attention has been paid to sizing this down for petites. While I'm happy that LE offers petite sizing for most of their styles, the sleeves of almost all the tops I order are still too long. I'm almost 5'4" so it's not that I'm very short.
The sleeves of this top in the petite size are longer in proportion to the length of the body than they are in the missy size. The sleeves hit the tops of my wrists, which seems longer than "bracelet length". It's kind of an awkward sleeve length, too short for long sleeves but too long to really show my wrists. It would be too expensive to have the alteration done for the wear I will get out of this.
Another thing that didn't size down so well was the placement of the buttons down the front. If you look at the blouse pictured on the model, the second button is placed at the level of the fullest part of her bust, but on mine the second button is above the fullest part and when I stretch my arms I get gapping. I can remedy that by sewing in a little snap but I don't feel as though I should have to.
I would also request that LE shows truly petite size models wearing petite size garments so we can see how the garments are scaled down to our size without having to guess from viewing what garments look like on 6' tall models.
I'm keeping the blouse because the style is nice and I got a good price, but I'm disappointed about the sleeve length.

Too short for me
Do us a favor, Lands' End, and list shoulder-to-hem length in shirt and blouse descriptions. What a bummer to order this lovely, good-quality blouse only to have to return it because it doesn't fall low enough. The price was high ($59), and having to pay more than $6 to return it is quite a slap.

sleeves are not "bracelet length" in petite
I would have given this 5 stars if the sleeves of the size 14 petite I ordered fit right. The style is very pretty and flattering, the neckline is low enough to show a cute necklace but not too revealing, and the georgette fabric is soft and drapey yet not so sheer that you have to wear something underneath.
The sleeves of mine are hitting the tops of my wrists - hardly the "bracelet length" shown in the photo. I uploaded some pictures showing me wearing this and also laid flat. It's easy to see that the sleeves are proportionately much longer compared to the length of the body of the garment than they are in the regular size blouse pictured.
LE, one of the reasons I BUY petite size clothes is so the sleeves will fit. Please pay more attention to this aspect in the future. Every petite size top in my last order has sleeves that are too long. I had my husband measure my arm and it's exactly the length for the petite size I take according to your sizing charts, so it's not that my arms are shorter than a normal petite.
Also, it would be nice to see a truly petite size model wearing petite size garments so we don't have to guess how a regular size is going to scale down. You do it for plus sizes, why not petite?
I'm keeping this because it's a pretty blouse and I got a nice discount on it. If I'd paid full price I would return it.

Beautiful Transitional Blouse!
I received this blouse a few days ago and wore it to work today. I have received one compliment after another on this blouse! It is very comfortable and airy. Perfect for the office. The dots add a fashion flair. I normally only wear solids, but this blouse really caught my eye and I am very glad I stepped out of my comfort zone. Thank you Lands End!
