Women's Box Pleat Skirt
Not as described
I bought this skirt because the website describes it as above knee length, they need to put really above knee length. I am 5'3" and it is extremely short for me. I have two young kids and know if I bent over in this people you see my undergarments. It is going back! I wish Lands' end would put length measurements on all skirt listings so the customers can determine for themselves how long an item would be on them since a skirt that is "above knee" is not the same length on every person.

My underwear showed
Wow what a disaster. This skirt will be banned in most schools. Even though I'm way past school age I was looking for a neat pleated skirt. This skirt was amazing short. The fabric was stiff and uncomfortable. Land's End YOU CAN DO BETTER.

Bigger and shorter than expected
I was shopping for a simple box pleated skirt for a school girl outfit for a party, and it appeared from my online search that Land's End had two different models, one referred to as woman's knee length and another described as 7" above the knee. I carefully ordered what I thought was the knee length version, but the one that arrived was the short one. I kept it -- it served its purpose -- but the advertising was truly confusing, and other reviewers seemed to be blindsided in the same way. Also, I ordered a size 8 based on the waist size, expecting it to be tight but adjustable. In fact it was big in both the hips and waist in relation to the description of sizes. I needed it for a particular event -- otherwise would have sent it back for smaller size. The quality is fine, and if you remember loving to wear box pleated skirts when you were in school, this is very reminiscent.

Perfect skirt with tights and boots or flats. I love the way it fits and looks.

This skirt does not fit my waist, it is too boxy.
Does not fit well - promptly returned it. It would fit better if it contained stitch down pleats.

Love the style & color
I like having the charcoal gray color option as opposed to standard black, something different. I love the box pleated style, very fun & comfortable style. I found this skirt to run big, but luckily it has an adjustible elastic band with button fastens. I recommend to anyone measuring themselves at home to go strictly by your waist size. I took my hips into consideration when selecting the size and the skirt was so big! Great quality! I plan on wearing this to church, but specifically I bought this to dress up for a Harry Potter event.

I am a teacher and ordered this skirt to wear to school. I am 5'2" and the skirt is ridiculously long - much longer than the picture indicates. I am sending it back.

Cute cute cute
The length is 18 inches or so. It's the same length as the side pleated skirts. I really like this skirt. It's the length I was looking for. I wear it to work and when I go out. It washes (following the directions) without wrinkling (though it did arrive with some creases), but the pleats fall out a bit and don't stay crisp. But here's what I've been doing to solve it (because I HATE ironing). Right out of the dryer, I tape up the pleats like they were when it arrived in the mail. Then I've been hanging it upside down. This keeps the pleats pretty well -- at least better than if I just hang it up after the washing. I don't regret the purchase at all.

Cheat looking, too short
Does not measure up to normal Lands End standards.

PROFESSIONAL AND STYLISH
This skirt gives me the perfect look for work and still gives me a younger look. A great skirt for daytime and more casual evenings. Thanks, Lands End. You've done it again!
