Women's Petite Border Print Skirt
I ordered the size smaller as recommended and it fits well. The fabic is of good quality. The print is eye catching and I will probably wear it on more dressy occasions.

Beautiful but too big. Not sized correctly
This skirt is very classy and beautiful. I ordered down a size based on other reviews and it is still too big.
I am 5'10 1/2" and wear a size 8. I ordered a size 6 and am still swimming in it. I DID wear it to work once but won't again until I can see about getting it tailored to fit correctly.
Aside from the fit issue, I absolutely love the material, the lining and the beautiful pattern.

I am always drawn to the color blue, so I have been eyeing this skirt for a while. I finally took the plunge, and I am glad I did. Although the skirt looks embroidered in the picture, I knew from previous reviews that the colors were woven. Thanks also to previous reviewers who noted that the skirt runs large. I ordered down 2 sizes, and it fit perfectly. The wool has a very nice feel to it. I paired it with a cobalt blue sweater, but there are many other colors that would work with this beautiful skirt.

waist is huge!
I was being optimistic ordering a 6p and 4p. The waist on the 4p was huge, more like a 8 or 10r! The skirt is light weight and lined, a good value at the clearance price.

Lovely but oversized
Absulutely great looking, but my size 6 seemed to be closer to 10 - very very very large for my waist of 70 cm.
Minus for "dry clean only"

Odd sizing, otherwise versatile and quality
Just as other reviewers mention, the fit of this skirt is a bit odd. Even for as hippy as I am, it seems loose for the size I ordered. The waist slides around a bit too.
BUT I love it. I first wore it on a humid, 80-degree day and did not feel hot in the wool with a lining. The colors are rich and not only can it be matched with cobalt or black, but there are other nuanced colors that will work well with it.

This skirt was not at all what I expected from the description. It was an odd shape, sort of ballooned over the hips. The printed design was crooked and looked "cheap." The colors were pretty, and the lining was nice, but overall I was disappointed in the quality and cut. Returning it.

I love this skirt! It is flattering, the perfect length and pretty. It runs a little big, but drapes nicely and goes on smoothly because it is nicely lined. I'm hippy and it was slimming yet was not restrictive to move around in.

pretty and not too brightly colored
I purchased this beautiful skirt. it's hard to tell from the online photo, that it is NOT for the majority of the pattern,a solid black color, I would say it is more of a dark charcoal heather with the other colors, like teal, cobalt, and mustard.
Sizing of the skirt seems strange, I decided to go with the size 2 regular, based on another reviewer with same height and build. I am 5'2" and 115 lbs and the size 2 fit me perfectly as well. In other clothing companies, I can fit into a size 4 or a 6, Also, the length of the skirt in description for the Regular sizes, lists it as 27" . Well my ruler measured otherwise, and it was exactly 25 inches, which hit a little below my knees.
Other than that, this is a nice tailored & well made wool skirt, which I am matching with the perfomance shawl cardigan in Dark cobalt blue, which looks very nice together. A mustard color cardigan or top would work with this skirt equally well. I can't wait to wear it this fall.

Could have been a lovely skirt
What a shame this skirt has some basic flaws for the average woman's figure. It could have been a real winner.
The skirt is well made, good quality fabric, colours reasonably true to the screen image. Looks great with a black or turquoise top.
However, unless you have a straight-up-and-down figure with no hips the cut is very unflattering. The small pleats at the waist can be forgiven, especially if you bought your regular size (as this skirt runs generously on the sizing). But the pockets sit right on the side seam and unless you get them stitched up they really ruin the overall shape, adding inches where most of us don't need them.
At the sale price I'm willing to get the pockets sewn up professionally, so will keep the skirt. I would have given this 4 stars if the pockets had been off-set.
