Women's Boiled Wool Parka
Not a good fit
The shoulders are over sized on this jacket. The shape of the jacket is strange so I returned it.

This is an awesome parka. I am ridiculously picky about coats, but this one is a keeper for its minimalistic styling, quality and versatility. It's classic but with a modern edge that makes me feel super chic. No tacky bells and whistles, which means it won't go out of style in a couple of years. It looks great with jeans and booties but is dressy enough for a night out, too. The weight is perfect. It's not for subzero temps, but will get me through late fall, early spring and the milder winter days. The wool is soft and has a great texture. The charcoal heather is a beautiful color and goes with absolutely everything! I think it appears darker and less heathery in person, which is a good thing... Makes it look more dressy than sporty.
I am 5'6" 120 and have plenty of room in a size 4. I actually think a 2 would be perfect, but there were none in stock (or maybe size 2 is only offered in petite)?
The only minor change I would make is the quality of the lining. It feels a little thin and stiff, and a nice silky one would make this coat even more super than it already is.
But it really is super. You nailed it, Lands' End!

I'm really please with this coat!
The coat is exactly what the photo liked like. It fits great and I received several compliements. I am petite, but not small through the shoulders so the reviews I read were right on. If you have broad shoulders this coat is for you. I would recommend this coat, great price and quality!

This coat is Beautiful & warm, stylish & classy,
The Boiled Wool Parka is a beautiful coat. The price is far less than you would find anywhere else, for this good quality. I had to send it back for the next size larger because, it was very tight through the shoulders and arms. But, I was very pleased with the next size up. This coat can be worn dressy, or with jeans. I love it!

I got this coat in black, it goes great with my longer tops and skinny pants. It is warm without being heavy.
Looks cute with a scarf to dress up the black. Fit was perfect

Coat was scratchy and not the soft boiled wool I expected. The collar was damaged in packing and would no longer stand up. .

Great in between weather coat, 35 to 45 degrees.
Good quality. Nice fit. Zipper works well. Warm in proper weather. Stylish. Dress it up or down.

love the color & weight of the coat = perfect for my needs. Warm without being too heavy. Love the deep pockets and the heavy duty zipper. Since I'm a short gal, wish the collar wasn't quite as deep, but it's nice when buffering against a cold wind.

elegant for a "parka"
I'm wearing my new black one almost daily, and love it; even my young, fashion-obsessed daughter is very pleased with hers, in sludge green; one more daughter has yet to try the blue one. The raglan sleeves are great, though this jacket has such an elegant look the zipper fastening seems out of place. I'm nervous about pilling with boiled wool, since a garment I bought earlier is pill-prone. BUT what an ordeal to find the right size! Who are the Land's End style models, and why are their arms so long? The size 4 regular sleeves way too long for me (5'5" and 125), though size 2 petit's sleeves are short for my 5'5", 110-pound daughter (no 2 regular available). One advantage of having to try so many variations of regular and petite was that the price kept dropping!

Great coat. Short sleeves
This is a beautiful coat. Soft for boiled wool. Neptune blue is beautiful. Fits well....EXCEPT...the sleeves are too short. When I move my arms my wrists and lower forearm are exposed. WOuld send back petite and order regular but they don't have my size. I am 5'2" and 124 lbs. SO petite is my norm...maybe regular would have worked. Or one size up.
