My favorite boots ever
I'm 5'9" 160 lbs with muscles (thanks, Dad!). I'm tired of boots that scrunch my calves, so when I learned that the "wide" Blakeley means wider calf size, I ordered a pair. Right out of the box, I knew these were perfect. The calf size allows me to tuck in jeans with room to spare -- but not too much. And the boots themselves are a joy to walk in. I have high arches, and the insoles support them perfectly. The leather is so soft, there was no break-in needed. I never thought I'd be one of those shoppers who said, "I need one in every color!" but I am. I bought a second color and love them, too. Both at 40% off made the price reasonable to me, because these are going to last a decade or more. I've been trending toward size 9.5 in shoes, but size 9 here are ideal.

Amazing Quality A Great Price. Works for Petites too!
This is the first review I've ever written, but it's worth the trouble for these boots! They are the fourth pair of low heeled or flat black boots that I've tried on this season and I'm happy to report that I've finally found the right pair!
About me: I am 5'2", 115 lbs., and have a 14" calf (at the widest point). I ordered a size 7 regular (not wide) and it fits very well. I can wear the boots with jeans tucked in and I still have plenty of room. I can also wear them with tights and they don't look too loose. The boot hits about 1.5 inches below my knee.
Quality: The leather is buttery (not stiff), so it will contour to your leg, for a flattering fit (instead of the weird scrunching at the ankles). The sole of the shoe is rather padded, providing extra comfort.
Overall, I'd highly recommend this boot. I haven't been able to find a better pair at this price point (even the Coach boots that I just returned retailed for over $300 and did not fit nearly as well). If you're lucky enough, you can snag a coupon code online for 40% off + free shipping, like I did (googling "lands end coupon code"). If you're unsure about the proportions, check the specs and measure your calf before buying. Happy Fall!

Cute boot, Excellent Quality!
I LOVE these boots! I got the darker brown color and the color is deep and rich. I ordered the wid shaft and they fit perfectly and run true to size. I am petite (5'3") and it is extremely difficult to find boots that fit. Being short, the fact that these boots are an inch shorter than most make them perfect for me. The price is great for the quality, especially at 25% off. I can't wait to wear these this fall!

Perfect Boots!
I live in a mild climate so boots are a year round accessory. I bought these in the Hazelnut color and. no exaggeration, I get complimented on them every single time I wear them. They are comfortable and, at lease for the 6 months that I have worn them, seem to be wearing well. Worth every penny!

Love love love these boots!
I received a pair of these boots for a Christmas gift. I loved them so much, that I purchased a pair in another color! The leather is soft, yet durable and the workmanship is wonderful! I have gotten so many compliments when I wear them. They are a classic style that I will be able to wear for many more years!

Its about time!!!
It's about time that I found a boot that came in a WIDE, FASHIONABLE, COMFORTABLE and most of all WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! I have had these boots about 3 weeks and have attempted to wear them with every thing. I'm about 5ft and have sexy wide human calfs that do not fit in most of the most current trends of boots made for aliens...The are so soft and are great for all day wear. I see the potential character (extremely worn look) they will have after having become my favorites. My pair (61/2 wide in Spice Brown) is nothing less than PERFECT!!!
Advice...Take a moment to get out a flat tip and tighten up the screws on the buckles-I had one hit the floor in my home and was thankful that I heard it. Needless, to say I went on and made sure that dsthe others were going to stay in place.

Don't hesitate to buy these boots
These are the first boots I ever bought and I love them. They're beautiful. I have a bone spur on my big toe and these don't press against it. I bought the regular width and they fit very nicely on my calves. I rely on reviews, and all these great reviews reassured me that they would be good. They're perfect.
