too heavy for swimming, never dries
I bought this suit with full intentions of loving it. However great it is out of the water, I found it unusable in the water. The fabric is very heavy when wet creating drag when swimming; and it was pulled down by even moderate waves. I paired it with the adjustable scoopneck tankini which often filled with air compounding the issue. In a month at the beach, it never dried. Not once. Granted, it was humid, but I was at a beach and that's where I swim. If you are a swimmer wanting a skirt, buy a tank suit and a pair of nylon shorts.

Great for Swimming and More!
This is perfect to wear at amusement parks where there are water rides! Being over 40, I wish they were a tad bit longer for this particular occasion but this length works fine. I can get wet and not have to worry about changing or ruining my regular clothes. The navy works with just about anything and with lots of other brands as I opted for a tankini from another store. I typically wear a size 2 in Lands' End pants and the size 4 in this SwimMini was perfect on me.

Had to size up two sizes!
I'm not sure if its the fabric, the cut, my body shape or a combination thereof but I had to go up two sizes from what I measured to get the skirt to look good. I measured a size 4 which is the size I normally wear but when I tried this bottom on it looked terrible. The panty legs hit at a bad spot on my legs making my outer thighs bulge and the skirt wouldn't hang straight. I called and ordered the next size up (I love Lands' End customer service!), same thing! I ended up getting a size 8 skirt. The leg openings fit my legs well and the skirt lays beautifully now. The waist is a little big but not uncomfortably so.

Mid-rise waist not too flattering
When I ordered this, I failed to notice that it sits a couple of inches below the waist, which caused an unflattering bulge above the elastic. I'm not fat (Petite Medium) but I guess I need to lose the love handles. In the meantime, I'll have to stick with one-piece swimsuits. I returned it.

Watch Your Sizing
I love the look of this swimsuit bottom -- the skirt is really cute. However, the sizing is a little on the small size and it's pulling a little around my tummy. Be sure to purchase to the measurements provided and not your normal size.
