Perfect!
This suit is perfection. The gathering is slenderizing and camouflages lumps and bumps. I am a size 16/18 or 16W and the regular size 18 fits like a dream- not too snug, not too big. I feel like a million bucks in this suit!

Beautiful flattering Tankini
I was a little concerned when I ordered this top, because it made the model look a little blockish. I absolutely love this top. I'm 5'4" and wear a size 12 top, and have lots of curves. This top is beautiful, and the halter straps are very flattering. The cinching on the top helps to minimize my tummy area, which is always a welcomed fix. I ordered the pink top, and I love the colors. I've ordered bathing suits from Land's End for years, and have never been disappointed. I hand wash all my suits to give them a longer life, and never put them in the dryer.

LOVE this suit- it's PRRFECT!!!
This is the most flattering tankini I have ever gotten! Fits great, too! I actually have trouble with halter tops so I crossed the straps & stitched them to the back- it gives it a great look! This is the perfect suit!!!

Made me look fatter
Kiss of death right? The gatherings made me look more lumpy and heavy rather than disguising. There is nothing holding in the tummy area either. I think this would look cute on someone lean and tall with smaller boobs, to give some curves, but not on those of us with extra pounds. I wear size 12 in LE and 36D.

Perfect fit
I love this suit. I love that it is shirred (to cover those tummy flaws). The length is perfect. I love the color & fit. It thins you out and fits "fitted" along the hips. The neckline is great, it shows just the right amount of breast area (I'm a 36C) without being too revealing. It is comfortable and quality material.

Cute suit, but don't like the fit
I orginally ordered this suit in a 10 Petite as my other LandsEnd suits are size 10 (I wear a 34 DD but have a little waist). When I tried the suit on the problem was that it was very big in the stomach for me, I felt it made me look fatter rather than skinnier. It also does not have any sort of adjustable bra clasp, so what you see is what you get, no way of really adjusting it to make it tighter if it stretches out some. You can re-tie the halter part, but this did not help me. I re-ordered in a size 6 (despite the representative telling me to order an 8) and it fits much better in the chest, it actually feels supportive now. I honestly may return it because I am really bothered by the fact that you can not tighten it like most tops. It is so cute in the photos, but I guess not for my body type.

Flattering style, but.....
Love this top but the white lining likes to peak through on the top. I plan on sewing it down in hopes that might help. Hey, Lands End, change the lining and this top would be perrrrfect.

Not so great for my figure.
I'm 5'7" and 170 pounds. This didn't look good on my figure. I think the ruching made me look even larger than I am. I don't need that.

Cute but a few things...
I found this top to run on the larger size. I am typically a size 6 but have always ordered a size 8 in swimsuits. I would definitely stick to the size 6 in this style because there just seems to be a lot of extra fabric. The ties kind of feel like they are placed extra wide which bugs me a little. Also, I ordered the pink multi colored top and the bottom that is supposed to match is a bit brighter. I would prefer to have a bottom that matched the greenish darker color in the suit. I'm sounding fairly negative, but I do think the suit is cute and plan to keep it!
