Women's AquaTerra Long Sleeve Rash Guard 1 5 1 1
Material does not perform well I really did not like the material and the fit of this top and here is why. I bought this in white, which I do not see here anymore maybe because some customers have had the same issue I did (?). I bought a couple of these tops in white to wear during a trip to Australia. After wearing it just once while playing with my daughter in the water, I noticed the material got yellowish and some sand seemed to have gotten stuck within the fabric. Please note I never rolled in the sand. We were just catching some waves. I tried washing the sand and stains off to no avail (the same happened with my daughter's same kind of top). Once I returned home, I washed it in the gentle cycle with cold water and delicate soap, but it still looks dirty. In addition, after wearing this an afternoon at the beach, I did get sunburned on the shoulders and back. Australia does not have an ozone layer, so it might have worked well elsewhere. The picture here shows the top is loose on the model and the fit is indeed like this. But what I didn't realize is that this kind of top need be more form fitting as if it were a bathing suit because it causes a lot of drag in the water and it floats as you go. Once out of the water, this will stick to your body in an awkward way and it doesn't look nice. April 15, 2013
