Women's Aquafitness Butterfly Scoopneck One Piece Swimsuit
Great Fitness Swimsuit
After reading some reviews about this swimsuit, I was hesitant to purchase it, but based on my experience as a former competitive swimmer, I decided to try it anyway. After all, Land's End offers a satisfaction guarantee, so what risk did I have? I am glad I ordered it! What you need to know about this swimsuit is that it is best for fitness swimming. I think some reviewers confuse this with a "fashion" swimsuit, meant to flatter your figure. This is not that kind of swimsuit. As a fitness suit, it does not have cups in the bust (and it should not), as they create "drag" in the water when swimming laps. If you are using it for bouncing or bobbing (as is water aerobics) and are very large busted, this may not be for you either. But is it a great suit for its function. It is meant to hold the bust tightly against the chest, and it does that. If you want something to make you look like a "model," and you are just going to sit in the hot tub, or lay out in the sun, then try some other land's end swimsuit that shapes your bust. As to the fabric not holding up, it is important to note that every public pool has a different degree of chemical treatment for it's city's regulations. I have not experienced the "fading" or deterioration that others have described. It may just be that the pools they are using have higher levels of chemicals and ANY swimsuit will deteriorate as it is exposed to these harsh bacteria killing chemicals. I love this suit, and think it is worth the price for my intended use - lap swimming and active water sports (skiing, tubing, sailing and jet skis).

Terrific suit. Fits well, looks good, great for lap swimming or water aerobics. Already received some compliments on it.

Straps had to take off
Please, please, please, bring back polyester suits with clips. Since polyester doesn't stretch, it is hard to take off wet suit with this type of straps.

Great suit, very comfortable.
Good quality suit, fits comfortably. The long size keeps the straps from pulling and the bottom from riding up.

Mastectomy suit with good coverage and comfortable
I am not a "serious swimmer" but I am in the pool for water aerobics 3 days/week. This suit is figure flattering, comfortable, has good coverage without being too much or bulky, and doesn't gap at the chest (which is important for me). I am 5'3", 140# and ordered a size 10 (although I usually order size 8 or small in LE clothing). All of my mastectomy suits are from LE :-)

This suit fits great!
This suit fits great! I teach swim lessons so I am in my suit 7-8 hours a day. It covers all necessary parts and stands up to hours of chlorine and still holds it shape

I returned this swimsuit. I needed more than the shelf bra since I do water exercises several times a week.
The fit was good but I need more than the shelf bra to do water exercises. The material is what I need so that my suits will last longer than a couple months. I just received your tugless suit and I am wondering why you can't make this suit out of the same material as the aqua fitness.

Couldn't stand up to the Y pool
I bought this suit last year. When it was new, the straps dug into my neck muscles uncomfortably--they are too close to the neck. It finally loosened up a bit and felt OK, tho it is somewhat hard to get into. I have four other suits and alternate them. I rinse them when I'm done. Unfortunately I have noticed the back beginning to disintegrate at the mid-back. I doubt I wore this more than 10 times in the last year and a half since it was the least comfortable of my suits. Then I looked at the label and noticed it is NYLON. Pool suits must be polyester to withstand heavy chlorine. At least then you only have a problem with the bra lining disintegrating.
Given Lands End's great history of quality, I wish they would give more thought to both the design and fiber content of this product. This year's selection was poor at best. I will keep wearing my other suits to the Y pool (with their disintegrated bra linings) as long as I can. Luckily, I don't have a large bosom.

great fit but does not last
I just ordered my 3rd one in less than a year, so no it does not last! But it fits so great and there is not much else out there for women's practice swimsuits so I come back every time. I swim a mile of laps, 5 days a week and this suit lasts about 3 mos. before it stretches, fades and thins to the point it is not wearable. Get a size smaller than you need if you are a lap swimmer, because after just a few wears it will be stretched out. I also love the shelf bra that goes up in cup size, as I do need that and few practice suits offer it.
