Women's 3/4-sleeve Starfish Boatneck Tunic Top
Way too small.
I was so excited to order this in the purple sapphire color but when I tried it on I was sure I was sent the wrong size. It is SO much smaller than any other top I've ordered from LE. SO, so disappointed because it looks so comfy and the color is great. What is going on?

Something stinks here.
I received my order of this in two colors and some leggings. Sigh. Landsend has been the ONE place I could count on for being consistent, not any more. This tunic laid on top of the one one I bought last year is TWO plus inches narrower all over. The shoulders are way smaller, probably closer to three inches narrower. It does appear longer. This one is also 100% cotton as opposed to the cotton rayon mix of last years. What gives?? It feels like the take over from outside companies is catching up to you. The quality is no longer there. I dont want lesser quality clothes from Landsend!! That makes me sad and frustrated. We pay a premium price for the clothing expecting to get consistency and get this. These are going back. Will have to take a hard look at what I buy from LE in the future.

Love the fit of this tunic top
One of my most comfortable tops. Washed up nice. Can be casual and dressy.

Much longer length than I imagined. Longer than picture. Looked almost like dress.
Chose the wrong color, beige, and had to return. Maybe a petite size would have been a better length. Ordered in large and was definitely too big.

I love the longer tunic length and the fact this is 100% cotton. It's a nice weight material. Very versatile. I wear it as a sweatshirt daily but can dress it up with jewelry for a more polished look! I ordered the purple and the black and wish it came in more colors. Only one suggestion - while I like the 3/4 sleeves, because I normally push up my sleeves anyway - it doesn't work well in the winter as even under a coat, it leaves the bottom of my arms with nothing much on, so I would have liked a full length sleeve.

Not like the 2013 version
I bought two Starfish tunics 2013 and love them. The purple sapphire one I bought fall of 2014 is heavier fabric, different styling, seems to run small and everything that touches this leaves a mark. It spends more time in the laundry process than I get to wear it. I really like the 2013 style a lot better since this is more like a sweatshirt.

Not what I expected
I ordered three, red, blue & white. The colors are great the tops not so great. The boat neckline is too high.(higher than my crewneck sweaters!) I found by pulling them from shoulder to shoulder they stretched out a bit and does not come up as high. They are not as long as I thought they would be. I bought them to wear with my straight leg starfish pants in colder weather. Okay for around the house now that I finally got the neck opened a bit more, but would not wear out unless under a coat. sloppy fit. Would not order again. The only reason I got them was a discount I had and it wasn't worth paying the postage to return. I am wearing now that it is unseasonably cold here and they are soft and warm so maybe I'll get my moneys worth. also agree with someone else that the shoulders are strange.

This tunic is a good fit; It fits well- nor too big or small. The fabric is a warm fabric, but I'll wear it through the winter with a thin layer underneath.

I really like the top. Nice fabric weight for the fall and winter.
It runs very large. I would order one size down. If, you are short, even the petite is pretty long.

Purchased purple & heather
Deducted one point only due to my never really knowing what to do with a boat neck. This tunic is made of really heavy nice wintertime (read warm!) knit & I'd die with another layer underneath. A v-neck would work on it. Anyway, at 5'7" 170 lbs. I find medium tall oddly works best, but this top only came in regular I am always to my chagrin somewhere between medium and large. The top is all cotton, so I washed it in warm water and threw it in the dryer and voila! - we have a fit (of course I tried this on just one tunic first). The purple did not fade during "tailoring" still rich purple, the heather matches perfectly with mushroom pants. They are rather boxy, but a little skimming over is what makes me a little more at ease some days. The length....anyone remember Maude? Into the thigh....remembering medium tall on 5'7". I'm just really pleased with them overall.
