Women's 3/4-sleeve Lightweight Cotton Modal Crossover Top
Right weight for summer; very flattering.
Very light weight fabric is nice for a summer shirt when sleeves are needed. Initial itchy seams softened after I laundered with a fabric softener rinse. Washed and air dried this on my European trip; always fresh and ready the next morning. Wore these almost every day and was very pleased.

fits strangely, unlike print crossover top
I bought two of these because the black-and-white print crossover top, which should otherwise be identical, was absolutely perfect. The solid pink and the solid black do not fit anything like the other one, and so I will not be able to wear them. They will have to be returned. It's a pity, because they are lovely tops.

comfortable, light weight, and not cut too low
If it came in other colors or a pattern, would buy another one

Disapointing FAUX Crossover
I bought two very flattering velvet crossover before the Christmas holidays in black and green, so I guess that I was not expecting a faux crossover that it is sewn instead. The main problem is that now that I am forty and I do not have small perky breasts that need no bra anymore, so the sewn part crosses right in the middle of my left breast, so it does not look right at all. But I did not have that problem with the real crossover top from the winter because it was not sewn. Also I am 5'8'', and even though I am not so tall the V-Neck collar is to high and the top falls too short at my hips... I wear a Large but it seems to be cut for a very short petite women instead. It is also cut boxy looking, even though a have a very small waist. In my opinion, the material is actually too tick and too warm for Spring time. It's more for winter to me. I do love the 3/4 sleeves, but even though I have no heat problems or I am not in the menopause yet, this top makes me feel hot. I do prefer the thinner materials of the scoop tops from Land's End, so I guess that I was expecting something different. The lavender color is very pretty though. If this top was a real crossover with a thinner fabric with more variety of colors, I am sure that I would keep it, but right now and the way it is, it does not look or feel right to me, sorry... Also, the real crossover from before did hide my little tummy with the extra material in folds, but this one does not! It makes me look pregnant of a few months...

Not as flattering as the black/white print version of this -- or it's cut differently.
I bought the black and white print faux crossover top a while ago and really like it and how it fits. Not too low, not too snug, very flattering and easy to dress up as desired. So I bought the black one in this faux crossover top. It seems to fit differently -- a bit more snugly I think, and the sleeves even are snug, unlike the other one. I don't know whether they're cut differently or not, but they seem to be. Too bad, because I'm always looking for another easy to care for black top. Not this one, tho.

Everything about this top is just about perfect. You can dress it up or down. You can wear a pretty scarf or casual or fine jewelry with it. It spans the seasons. The fabric feels nice, the sleeves are a nice length, the neckline is not too low, and the shape is very flattering. I got the black and I plan to now get the pink. I just wish it came in more colors.

Pretty in Pink
This is the modal fabric that I love. It is a lovely pink color. The top does run big.

Not like the crossover tops of years past
I ordered this in pink, expecting it to be like the elbow sleeve and short sleeve crossover tops I have from Lands' End from previous seasons. It is nothing at all like those tops. The fabric on this one is thin and clingy, and it's not even really a crossover style in my opinion. Where the older tops have actual layers of fabric that crossover and drape, which helps hide tummy bulge, this just has basically a line sewn across the chest to give the appearance of a crossover. It was just not good. Maybe if my expectations had not been set so high by the crossover tops I already own then this wouldn't have been such a disappointment? I sent it back.

Ordered one of every color in Medium. Pink - the real appeal to this top - was a full size too big at least, the white was completely see through...lightweight equaling thin, in this case. I kept only the black which fit and was decent. My disappointment comes from this top not meeting what I had come to expect from Land's End quality, in addition to having to pay to send back items that are not useable. Bottom line, I cannot recommend this top. Who knows what size you would get?
