Very nice jacket but arms run small
I bought this as a good go-to business casual jacket and the style and quality are excellent. Just seems like the arms are small compared to the overall size. I bought an 18 and not quite proportional. I have bought other size XL's and 16/18's without the problem.

What's happened to Lands End?
I've been a Lands End fan and faithful customer for years, but the last few orders I've placed have been so disappointing. The quality has really gone down hill. This blazer was OK, but the front button weighed on the fabric in a way that made it look home-sewn and the fabric itself seems like something you'd buy at a discount store. Not flattering. It's going back. Even on sale, I expect more from Lands End.

But, couldn't. Thought it would be perfect for dressing up jeans. Just too boxy and the fabric didn't feel good or hang well. Returned and still on the hunt for a great jeans blazer!

Cut of this jacket was off for me......
I usually wear a size 8 jacket and when it arrived was very tight in the shoulders and arms. I returned for a size 10, but still found the jacket to be tight across the shoulders. Otherwise it was quite big, too large around the middle and the arms too long. It went back also. I have never seen a classic jacket with such an odd fit.

Nicely tailored Smart-casual jacket
I love this nicely tailored piece. Although the design runs small, the item dimension helps greatly in my selection of the right size. I'm 5'4", typically I'm Petite 6/ regular 4 but I took a Petite 8 for this jacket and it fits well!

Just the update my fall wardrobe needed!
This jacket is lovely! I wear a size 12, and it fits true to size. However, if you want room to layer heavy sweaters underneath, you may need to order a size larger. It is well-constructed, and I have not had a problem with buttons falling off. It looks great with the Fit 2 Stretch Chino Trouser in raisin. A very versatile piece. Highly recommended.

Nice looking blazer
This jacket looks nice and I'm looking forward to wearing it both as a dress-up blazer and with blue jeans. I do wish that it came with a silky lining though instead of the lining that's in it. The current lining makes it a bit of a struggle to pull the sleeves on over sweaters and blouses, as it offers a bit of friction,where as a silky lining wouldn't

Nicely made, attractive jacket, but VERY small and tight
I ordered an 8 petite, my usual size, and almost could not even try it on, it was so tight in the shoulders and sleeves. Measured it against a Talbot's 8P, an LL Bean Galway jacket SP, and a Lands End size SIX P navy blazer I've had for years - compared to these jackets, which are roughly the same size, this plaid jacket was a full inch narrower across the shoulders, and an inch shorter in the sleeve underarm, where the sleeve meets the jacket body, plus TWO inches less in circumference. Because I do like the color, style, and construction, I am planning to return this one and get a size 12P, two sizes large, hoping to get a standard fit that I can wear to the office. Really disappointed that this hassle is needed.
