Great for active toddler
It seems the negative reviews about the snowsuit being too lightweight are coming from people who haven't tried out the snowsuit "in the real world". We live in upstate New York and this suit has been awesome for our 2 year old. She stays very warm and we do not need to add extra layers underneath.
I think the suit being lightweight and still warm is a testament to the quality.
I also love the monkey paw sleeves (fleece fingerless mitten that hooks over the thumb to keep the sleeves in place) and how the pants have a layer that grows with your kid for the season. My husband and I were both really impressed with the suit. It's also super easy to get on and off. We're buying one for next year.

I just received this snow suit. The color is pretty and bright and fits my 3 yr old well. BUT Its paper thin you need to dress your child warm underneath for them not to be cold. Also, im very upset because the price was reduced a day I received it. I'm sending it right back for a full refund

We are an outside family, and spend a lot of time in the elements. I have always loved Land's End in the past for outside gear, but their quality seems to be going down. The outside shell of this snowsuit seemed durable, but there was hardly ANY insulation. I would need to put extra layers and coat underneath just to keep out little girl warm. We returned it for a full refund

Construction seems good but so lightweight I'm not sure how warm it really is
Just got this for my 18-month-old before Christmas. I like that it is one piece -- no more jacket riding up and exposing her back. The material feels like it is decent quality but I haven't tested to see how water-resistant it is. The elasticizing around the waist is a little snug with several layers on and makes zipping up a little trickier sometimes, but is stretchy enough to accommodate so no real problems so far. However the SnowGuard wrist cuffs prevent me from tucking in her mitts really well because she hasn't learned to push her hand as I put the mitten on, and its even more difficult trying to stuff the mitten cuffs between the SnowGuard wrist cuff and the coat sleeve, which has about 2.5" depth before you hit the seam between the two. Lastly, this suit is lightweight as described but so much so that I don't feel she is warm enough in really cold temperatures. In -20 degree Celsius weather I wouldn't rely on this suit to keep her warm because it feels so thinly filled. Overall, I only put this suit on her when the temp is between -10 to 0C.

Great product for the price
I ordered this in a 3T for my 2.5 year old daughter and it is perfect for her. She loves it and it keeps her dry and warm. I definitely recommend this to everyone looking for a full body winter snowsuit.

Love this snowsuit!
This snowsuit is just perfect for my daughter! The 2T is a little large on her, but overall fits well and has room to grow into. I love that the arms and legs have additional room to grow so we should be able to get 2 winters out of this! When it first arrived, like the other reviewer, i thought this was too thin and wouldn't be warm enough. But, I really think its a testament to the quality of the materials used because it did keep her warm on a very cold snowy day. Very pleased with this purchase!

not for cold climates
This is cute but very thin and not warm at all. My daughter has worn it twice and both times lasted about 5 minutes before she was too cold to play. It kept her dry but not warm. Her body was cold to the touch when I took her out of the snowsuit. If you live in a more moderate climate with mild winters it may work for you but we are in Michigan and it gets pretty cold here.
